Redtree i agree and most were only signed a few months ago.
But we are lumbered with them on big wages.
This was always coming from the day we signed 8 players for karanka in a jan window.
As a club we never learn.
But for the fact we've got very good money for our youngsters we'd be in massive trouble.

Lamsince it’s the 300 at Thermopylae mate but I take your point. Anyway, calm down dears this was a meaningless fixture with 10 changes, the object being to get some minutes into the legs of the reserves. When I saw 2 players (Freeman and Bachirou ) starting neither having played for months I went for a walk and paid it no more attention than a pre season friendly. Swansea made only 6 changes but they are 2nd in the table and look nailed on for promotion. Let’s keep it in perspective and go again against Barnsley. By the way Krovinic is a good signing.

Why do posters keep banging on about getting rid of the crap players? The club wants to but can't because they have contracts its not that easy to move on players who don't want to go. secondly please forget what happened last season. Its gone, finished, history.

If the club did not buy players that their club were hoping some mugs like Forest would take the player off their hands, the club would not be stuck with the rubbish players on three year contracts that they have.

I have previously made my feelings known about the shambolic recruitment policy and the lack of quality ( and indeed fitness and motivation) in the squad. Hugh ton had been handed a crock of poo and it will take him some time to sort it out. Meanwhile we are in a relegation scrap which I believe we will survive, then make changes at all levels in the structure, staff and perhaps management at the club . Who knows by then we may be rid of Marinakos and being run by Monaco royalty! Either way we ll know where we are after the next 3 fixtures which should be winnable.
