Had to start a new lost with this so ff79 can understand why its not fair to be so judgemental about Chris Hughton. I will try to be brief.
Lamouchi gets a turgid but semi successfull tune out of the squad last season but his luck or directive ran out the last 7 or 8 games. Sl blamed the players in his meeting in greece with marinakis. The squad gets 14 additions of mainly average and unknowns and a few are sold or returned to sender. Chaos is in full flow as season cup game starts with listless defeat to Barnsley. We then go on to lose the first 4 games of the new season without scoring a goal. Out with SL in with Hughton. The team and squad in dissaray and confidence lower than a snakes belly but somehow hughton lifts the doom against a desperate backdrop and we get moving. It wasnt pretty but a corner was turned. Ff79 you know the squad is too big to manage and largely its makeshift at best. We have a blip as injuries take their toll and slide again. But we get back up and go seven unbeaten. Its still not pretty, turgid i would say. But from what CH inherited and the team morale i think he has done very well. This with ppl, can hardly call them players, that he did not chose but has moulded into a form of a team is comendable. Your right marinakis and his partners in crime are the problem but give hughton his due, he is not bowing to pressure to bring in any old has been, he is identifying players he feels, from what is currently available, that will enhance the team in a more creative vein. You cannot fault him for that?

FF79 why do you make your posts sound like you know what's going on behind the scenes as facts when in reality your posts are guess work at best to fit your agenda.
By all means post your opinions but don't make out your in the know.

79 my version of events? That is what happened from the outside, a fans perspective and a brief summary of events. You can't show your ire for the owner and venrtroz and dof and then say the manager is at fault. SL had 18 months let's give hughton at least a year. I actually think the owner is giving hughton the reignsfor once. Many on here were glad with treatmentvof oneil but you I and many more were appalled.

We will have to agree to disagree mate when it comes to hughton.
The quicker he goes the better as far as i'm concerned.
The tugid football will continue that's his style don't want to see it anymore.

Your agenda being to have a pop at the owner at every opportunity and the manager, implying he is just a puppet for the owner and has no say in tactics or player selection/ recruitment.

Thats because that's what is happening and has been since the dof was appointed with karanka spitting his dummy out over it.
If you want to believe otherwise then that's your choice.

Trent how do you know the fat greek doesn't have a say with tactics etc?
How can multiple managers under the Marinakis regime get it wrong?
FF is bang on the nose about Forest.
The Fat Greek runs a dictatorship at Forest.
You do as he says or walk.
The onwer like his cronies are toxic.

what maranakis wanted was instant success, even offered to build a new stand and expected others to pay for it. he's not bothered about forest he's got champions league footy every year with olipiacoss.100mil for a stand, those of you who go to away games would have seen wolves new stand built a few years ago, that cost 16 mil. even if you double that for todays rates still a lot cheeper than our quote and its a fantastic stand.

Marianakis has kept us financially afloat, no more staff not paid, no more creditors knocking on door fi get paid. We aren't in trouble with FFP. He has supported manager after manager with money for players. Before the c.v. kicked in, record attendances, record shirt sponsorship and alround great feel good factor. Planning permission applied for not just for stand but a complex including apartments shops etc. Planning permission applied for to develope training grojnd to bring it up to Premier league standard. Finally still supporting club financially through c.v. when nearly all revenue resources have stopped. doesn't mean he has t made mistakes but who of us havent.
