Watched all the interview with our chairman mr Randall. Although a tedious boring orator what he said was quite reassuring. Its seems we have no DOF and the manager has the final say on who comes and goes through the door. He statedcthe club were honoured to have hughton as manager and yes they have made mistakes. My little concern was the belief that we were going in the right direction for the premier league under SL until the blip at the end of the season caused total chatoic collapse and now we are fighting to retain our league status. Sorry under SL the football, particularly at home was dreadful and that we flattered to deceive and that fragile bubble burst and exposed us for what we were and are. I would argue that the Dof scenario has only changed under Hughton and the decisions made, since, have been sensible. I think the club will show patience this time round and allow Chris Hughton the summer to rinse out the squad and make the RIGHT decisions on players coming in. To contemplate a change would go against everything the chairman said and demonstrate continuing petulance and impatience.

Yes he mentioned an internationsl scouting structure which we probably need but he did say all decisions were fown to the manager.

forest don't need international scouts, all that happens is some family member becomes there agent and the fees go up and up. total waste of money. forest scouts should be finding home grown talent and save shed load of cash. there's too much overseas rubbish in our squad already.

Irrelevant what anyone is called the recruitment is being done by someone other than the manager . No manager is so stupid that we’d sign so many ridiculous players . In any case most people on here blame vrentroz not the DOF . The chairman is bound to say what he’s said that’s his job it’s about propaganda and trying to keep fans interested, it’s a tough job and I don’t resent him for trying to do it .
