Apart from Garner if poss don't renew any loans from this season and look to ship out Arter Sow Murray Grabban Taylor Colback and Bong

Give the 15 players a squad number for next season and look to add Yates and Jephcot and with Samba Ameobi Blackett and Lolley we ha e already got 21 out of 25 players for next season.

I would like to see more young players given a chance in the new season, Randall should do another interview explaining the club are forgetting about promotion for a while because they have decided to go in a new direction. I would have Johnson, Soh, Mighten, Dale Taylor, and Gabriel in the squad.

To slate Luke Freeman and Anthony Knockaert is unfair in my opinion put yourself in their situation new surroundings new people new club new style of playing, a player needs at least a full pre-season of training and getting used to new people the club and surroundings so maybe be more supportive and patient with the new players.
I think Tyler Blackett is a good example of a player needing time to settle in as his performances have improved over time, I’m saying everyone is different and needs to be treated differently negativity is not the answer where as positive support is usually the answer imo.

In my opinion that is absolute rubbish, these are my reasons.

Knockeart has been at other clubs where our manager has been, so he is use to the managers way of playing.

Knockeart was getting plenty of training with the other players and getting plenty of game time when he joined, he is just a greedy player.

Knockeart has been playing a lot of years so will be use to adapting to new players when moving to another club.

Freeman has admitted that while at Sheffield United he had had a hernia operation and that it had gone wrong.

Knowing the hernia operation had gone wrong he still agreed to join Forest on loan, he effectively took a place that a fit player could have had.

Freeman again like Knockeart has been around a long while and will be use to adapting to new players when at other clubs.

So for me there are no excuses.

Damson you talk about being positive, what have Soh, Taylor, and Mighten got to be positive about. Soh has done little wrong when given a chance but has not been played much, even when others have been poor. Taylor is the teams top scorer but is lucky to get fifteen to twenty minutes, but is still the top scorer. Mighten had scored scored a goal in one game then did not get picked for the next game, in fact until recently he has been treated badly.

Stevie f, Knockeart is French but has been in this country many years, Freeman is English, Christie is English. Carvalho came from another country and had to adapt to that, and the other things that Damson said of Knockeart and Christie. I personally though think Carvalho is not tough enough for the Championship.

Wonky both McKenna and Worrall have proved they are one of the best pairings in the Championship, Mighten has improved since being given a chance recently, Soh has not looked out of place when he has played, Johnson has scored nine goals and made ten assists from the left wingfor Lincoln as well as playing for the Welsh first team. Yates is inconsistent but already has Championship experience. Dale Taylor though young has everything you want from a Championship player so it would be worth seeing how he gets on being in the squad. So it is not as bad as you make out, i'm not sure i would have as many as MUNMAD but more young players would not be as bad as you are saying. There again with all the Championship experienced players we have we have already fought against relegation have we not, so even if you were right it would be no different to this time around but at least we would have younger players.

Get forward carvallho must be starting to settle at almeria, the coach actually played him last game, BUT he was subbed after 46 mins, as usual, think knockeart settled pretty quickly when he 1st came to England,

I said i thought Carvalho was not tough enough for the Championship Stevie f, you are sticking up for Christie saying he needs time to adapt, that is even though he has cost the team points how is Carvalho going to adapt if only played for one half.

You say Knockeart settled pretty quickly when he came to England so why can a player adapt to a new country where the culture is different, and he is out of his comfort zone, yet he needs time to adjust to about fifteen team mates.

What is the point in having players on loan if they are going to take more or less their entire loan to produce any real form.

Get Forward you can’t blame Luke Freeman signing for Forest and did you not know gf any player coming to the club has to have a medical or did you think they just sign players on blind faith 😂 I said all players are different and need to be treated so it can take some longer than others to adapt weather they come from Portugal or meadow lane it doesn’t make any difference all players are not the same.
Money Tree I didn’t say soh Taylor and mighten don’t deserve a run in the team based on there form did I no I didn’t but maybe them three players mentioned above are already in Chris houghtons plans for next season so maybe CH is giving the loan players a run out while there here so he can decide weather or not to sign them permanently as they go back to there parent clubs at the end of the season so maybe it’s good that he assess them while there here now don’t you think?

What does it say about the Forest medical that a player takes it and passes it yet once he plays it is clear he is unfit.

Freeman himself admitted he had a hernia operation that had gone wrong while at Sheffield United so he knew he was not well therefore unfit.

Freeman, and Knockeart whom you mentioned need time to adapt are both loan players that have not done enough.

Christie is a loan player that has not done enough since joining, so does he not need more time to adapt like you think Freeman and Knockeart do?

You seem to be inconsistent with which players need time to adapt.

Get forward, well mate my point is there is a chance for AK to come good, as he has proved with past performances at the top end of the championship and bottom end of the prem, he’s proven at this level as a top championship player, whereas carvallho, er isn’t, and can’t get a regular start for Almeria, couldn’t get a place at benfica, couldn’t get a place here, think there’s a pattern emerging with him,

Stevie f i have not disagreed with you on Carvalho's ability, indeed i have said to MUNMAD that although he has a good pass in him and he can do the flicks he does not have in him to impose himself on a game so i do not know why you think i disagree with you on him.

You say Knockeart is proven at both Championship and lower PL level, which he is but i feel you are letting his track record interfere with what he is doing now.

Knockeart with his track record should know being greedy with the ball, trying to do everything himself is not going to work in a game that is all about how the team as a whole operates that gets the wins.

The team without Knockeart lately has been more balanced and therefore they operate more as a team. Knockeart i feel is past his best.

It would be a major gamble to bring him in next term on big wages in the hope he will improve.

Just read all your posts on knockeart and cavs, my opinion if your interested is, knockeart can play, looks good at times, can run, when he wants to, but by no way is he a team player, let him go back, get dembellie or what ever his name is from Peterborough. Cavs by all means give him one last try, I can’t see anyone wanting to bye him, has the skills but unless he’s changed he just can’t run, no pace, can’t get back, can’t tackle, its a shame but in today’s football you have to work .

Get I was making a comment and opinion on Knockaert and Freeman not Christie which I’m allowed to do so like anyone else on this site. my opinion on Cyrus Christie is this he knows how to deliver a good cross, track’s back well from a forward position and has good pace can definitely do a job for us at right back but has been inconsistent like most of the team has which is why we are 15th in the league with 41 games played. ameobi has shown been class sometimes worrall has been solid at the back and grabban has been off his game this season but I’m sure he will be back to his best next season, Lyle Taylor definitely deserves and needs more game time while Murray is just and hopefully in my opinion a temporary solution for this season, I know I’ve missed lots of players out with no disrespect to them.
I’m not the manager but I believe someone like Cyrus Christie should be given more time as I rate him as a good quality right back but that’s Chris Houghtons decision as with Chris Houghton I trust to make the right choice for Nottingham forest football club. you reds.
