Mark my words these 5 players given a chance will be brilliant for Forest this year

1. Brennan Johnson
2. Jordan Gabriel
3. Mbe Soh
4. Dale Taylor
5. Shelvey

Add Mighten Yates Konate and Larson to the mix and I see a bright future for our great club.

With the team built around Worrall and McKenna we have the nucleus of a great young committed contracted team.

The exodus of players like Murray Arter Sow Colback Bong Knockaert Hefele and Ameobi clears the way to bring in a few new signings a left back a creative mid and a striker hopefully Yates from Blackpool

Johnson has more than proved his worth in a Lincoln side that has managed to get into the play offs, if they win they would join us in the Championship so he deserves a chance at Forest.

Dale Taylor has been reported to have all the attributes of a quality player, and he has easily stepped up from the under 18's to the under 23's so he should be given a chance.
I have not seen much about Shelvey but it would not hurt to have a look at him during pre season.

Gabriel seems to have done fairly well out on loan without really hitting the headlines on a regular basis, so again have a look at hit in pre season.

Soh has not really been given a chance, again needs looking at in pre season, Hughton thought he was not ready for Forest yet, hence his not been given a proper chance. He needs to play regularly to see what he is made of so a loan spell would be a good idea.

Konate, and Larson are probably ones for the future.

Mighten needs better coaching than he has been getting and i think he deserves to play more than he did last season, like Soh though he might have to go out on loan to prove to Hughton he is good enough to play for Forest.

We will sell either Worrall or Johnson this summer, i would prefer to sell Worrall.

I would keep Ameobi if only as a good squad player, depending on who comes in.

Definitely looking forward to seeing the progression of Johnson and would like to see a few others given opportunities but I really don’t get what some folk see in Yates. 32 apps 2 goals,2 assists and got a 50 pence head, ball flying off at all angles. Not good enough I’m afraid and another one to move on.

MUNMAD has been on the acid tabs again, agree regarding giving Johnson and Gabriel a chance though. The others you mention will go out on loan before being in the first team picture. Your heart is ruling your head mate .

Perks i would like to see Johnson in a Forest shirt, i however you for me are expecting too much at once.

Yates does not score that often as he should from the amount of chances he gets but he does a lot of dirty work so to speak. I'm not saying he should be first choice but Forest should keep him as a decent squad player.

You have to pick and choose the worst players to get rid of not get rid of most of the squad and start again. Yates though not brilliant there are other players i would prefer to get rid of before him.

The players that earn big money but have not been earning it need to be gotten rid of first, then those players who are on good money that do not care all so go first.

Some of the young players can not be as bad as some of the has beens that have robbed the club, though the club should have known better if they had done their research properly.

Some of the young players need to be drip fed into the team, if they are not up to it by January then get them loaned out.

The way you seem to be talking the club go straight into a points reduction or another embargo with the money needed to be spent on loan, and permanent players to replacing every player in one go.

I think Yates is the type of player every team needs. Someone that’ll do the ‘dirty work’ and out in the hard yards. Look at Milner and Henderson at Liverpool, not flashy players but they do the basics so well (of course Yates still needs to improve but he’s in that kind of mould) .

He’s rough around the edges and should have converted more of the chances he got, but at least he’s getting into the right positions to give himself a chance to score.
I think he’s an ideal player for the bench to come on for the last 20 mins.
