Forgive me fellow Reds for not getting as excited as usual about England after the disgrace of last season and the frustration and disappointment of the season before for us. I watched an interview with Kalvin Phillips by a lady interviewer (who it seemed might not have watched football for 50+ years or played it at any decent level) and started talking about his father in prison and how he had been in and out over a number of years for a number of offences ( I suspect not for not having a tv licence? ) - we were all supposed to feel admiring and sympathetic. The question that I might have put is that why prisons aren't requesting that people earning over £100K per week with members of their family completing repeated sentences aren't being asked to contribute to their upkeep instead of the taxpayer picking up the tab? When they were released they could then get back to p#ssing up their money in nightclubs and buying expensive cars? My dad in his 92 years never went to prison. Heard it all! Come on you Reds 🍺.

Red hot red Kalvin shouldn’t be punished for his dads choices. Not the boys fault. Also footballers pay a lot of tax so they are doing their bit. I have read that if England were to win they will donate their bonus money to charity £10 million + .

RHR What has your question to do with footy? This is not a political forum!
Come on England! Now is our chance - (don't care what your forebearer background is)!

A child is not responsible for his fathers actions
The father should be responsible for his child.
