Same old problem even with three six footers at the back we can't deal with a tall striker, not one of them can dominate in the air, always vulnerable, not the first time this season. something for Mr Cooper to look at.

You can deal with a tall striker or a fast gifted small striker dreamteam. Me auld mate. You score more than them 😉.

Dreamteam to be fair smith at 6’6” is always going to win his fair share of headers, the trick is to stop the crosses coming in, and 1of The downsides of the 3at the back system, is the space it gives opponents if they get in behind the wing backs,

It has always been my thinking that you take your main threat out of the game early. A lovely Pearce-esque tackle should do it.

Chim71 like your thinking mate unfortunately those days are gone mate, shame because I liked to see a few bone crunching tackles.

And stevie I understand that at 6 ft 6 in, smith will win a few headers but a top striker he ain’t, he's not a prolific scorer so other teams must have a plan to stop him and others like him, so why can’t we, its not just him that we have problems in the air with after all, if we have ideas of being top side its a problem we have to sort out mate.

Bowie would love to think we could out score other team’s mate, but with one goal a game, can’t see us doing that, yes I know we got two last week ( with help ) and we were a tad lucky yesterday to get one. It will come, I’m sure Mr Cooper will sort it eventually, my opinion is we still need a spine to the team, don’t know if you agree, we are still short through the centre of the team, Goaly, CH, strong man in MF captain material, and definitely goal scorer . I do feel confident it will be sorted given time, but I thought the same when C H came in.

Dreamteam mate, I've said many times ben Watson was a big miss. And i agree with the goalscoring. Never going to get it from Taylor. He's had enough chances for me. i'd try a youngster rather than him.
