Could I recommend you all to read John Percy s excellent article in the Telegraph today called " Inside Forests £100 million survival plan ".
Amongst other things he says Lingard s wages are around £80 grand a week not the £200 thousand touted.
Also, like Cloughie, CooperMan believes in the personal touch, flying to Munich to see Omar Richards and meeting Jesse Lingard at a secret location in London with Mr Marinakos Senior and Junior.

Sometimes it's not all about the money, I read West ham 127 k a week so guessing the personal touch works.

Fact is we shown Jesse lingard R. E. S. P. E. C. T and went out of our way to show Jesse how much we would value him as a player and that obviously worked in our favour…………just sour grapes from the likes of West Ham and the football pundits, jesses probably a millionaire anyway so him coming to us had nothing to do with money, cooper and Murphy like clough and Taylor have got a great personal touch when it comes to signing players and player management……. this is why I believe Jesse came to forest, to be involved in the forest project and a chance to achieve something special when the odds are firmly stacked against us.
Us against them, so bring on the premiership big boys we will be ready and prepared, count on it.
