All the hue ha over the Reds defeat to Newcastle has really gone over the top. The so called no nothing pundits all Reds haters. Could not have or couldn't be bothered to have studied the facts.
Newcastle have been putting there side together since Eddie Howe came in last January. Steve Cooper has had 2 months maximum since the Wembley Final. Having to replace virtually a complete team.
None of these so called experts no nothing. Why does the television waste all this money on them.
And the way the Newcastle fans and players reacted you would have thought they had beaten the best team in the league. pictures showing one of there players giving a fan a Rolex. The mind boggles. Perhaps it was a fake. It just shows how little success these Geogies have had. let's see how the media reacts when they loose a few.
Looking forward to when our transfer business is done and hopefully the team gels and settles
down quickly and then these so called experts can eat there own words.

Totally annoyed the wotsits out of me, considering we are in the same company as Man Utd, West Ham, Villa, to name a but a few. But you didn't see the pundits being so ferocious about that lot, did you?

I'm annoyed that the usual suspects on here with there doom and gloom have started already after one game.
Cooper hasn't changed but the team had to change.
Garner wants to stay at utd
Spence wanted spurs
Davis and lowe a gamble with their injury problems and the clubs asking silky money for two players they don't want
Zincanagel a 60 minute man not fit enough to last a game in the championship and that's why Watford don't want him and sold him for a fee reflective of his fitness.
The side that won at Wembley would not hold itself in the Premier anyway and it wasn't possible to sign any of the loans other than Zincanagel
Add that to grabban wanting to much and samba unhappy
Jenkinson and grabban our top earners off the wage bill frees up money add the likes of de Costa silva and a total of 17 players off our wage bill plus the lians.
Stop batching about players signed it's not your money
Just be thankful that marinakis has done that like he said he would and so bloody patience for once.
Cooper is still Cooper and don't forget marinakis is now delivering on the new stadium as well.
You really have nothing moan about in reality but too many on here love it.

I was wondering if maybe samba had been told he might not be first choice, Henderson seems to be much more accomplished.

Great post ff, spot on. I in the past have had my fair share of moans, but at the minute I’m loving it. To win on Saturday would of been a mammoth task, but we will settle. We are going to lose more games than we have been used to over the last year and I’m expecting that. At the moment I’m looking for good performances, then results will come.

The reaction from some on here has been hysterical. We have had a bad game. Lots of teams will at Newcastle away. We will play better. Calm down.

What we did look like was a team with very little experience at this level - because we are. The other problem in my opinion is that we could do with more physical presence in midfield or on the flanks. We don't have a Roy Keane type.

Everyone is entitled to their opinions be it positive or negative.
Give it until Xmas then we shall see what the status quo will be.
Being a Forest is like night and day.

79 I hear what you say and largely agree. Personally I wouldn’t judge any player until after our first home game. Some players yet to make a start so we will see.
The concern for the cooper lovers is patience from the top. The relentless drafting in and some of the money being offered. Particularly for an unproven player at this level, indicates that it’s going to be a ruthless campaign. Cooper has had little time to weave his magic and he needs a lot of time, time I doubt he will get if the points don’t materialise. Fulham and Bournemouth have the experience and settled teams we are the new kids with a shortened time, due to play offs, to get a settled eleven. The loans that delivered for us have become the problem in replacing them, and with quality. I wonder how patient marinakis will be with cooper if after his best endeavours with this crop of newbies falters? Trigger happy? You flippin bet…

Take more than one home game to come to a decision my friend
It will take time for players just signed to get fit and up to speed.
Wether we like it or not just for once we needed 12 or more players.
Cooper did the impossible last season by getting us up on a shoestring and even spending 150 that's in the Premier that's something he will have to do again.
Proven Premier keague players like Jenkinson and arter have been a noose around our necks before
Give the signings the backing they deserve not write them off after one or two games.
One thing the newbies will all have learned on Saturday is that you don't get two touches on the ball at thus level.

Agree 79, we can't judge them after one away game but apparently after our first game at home we can?

It is so 'knee jerk' reactionary on here all the time, just as bad as the pundits to be honest.

I remember people on here last year saying if you thought were making play-offs your living in cloud cuckoo land, but that turned out ok.

Please give them a chance eh, recruitment for this season hasn't finished yet, Cooper is still assembling the squad and did us proud last year. Realistically we know we have a mini league in the bottom half to do well in and I fancy our chances to stay up but patience is required right now.
