Gary neville has summed us up perfectly
Take note those that don't want signings.

79 it’s better no signings than over inflated crap that their clubs don’t want. Let the club get on with cover signings and let cooper get the best out of the squad assembled. I want to see what they are capable of on Sunday…

Probably October before we start gelling and then the world cup to upset us so more like December before firing on full blast just in time for the January sales and another £50 million spent, should be ok for the run in.

Are the experts who thought Chris Wilder was a better option than Cooper and Artur was a good signing now saying we don't need to spend money when we have lost about 15 players and are playing in a higher division?

If Cooper wants Freuler, an attacker, a LWB and one more player, I'm with Cooper.

We obviously need a couple more players. We can afford it. It would be pretty dumb to go into the season weaker than we have to.

We are not paying those overinflated prices though
We've done well considering we didn't have an eleven to put out after promotion
You'll just have to lump it rotters because we are signing at least four more.

I don't believe Forest have offered £35M plus add-ons for MGW. That really is paper talk. Nobody knows what has been discussed, but Wolves have said they don't want to sell.

£20M is high for Dennis as well. Maybe £20M if we stay up and he scores more than 10 goals? But not a straight £20M up front.

{Ed002's Note - It would be in the order of £35M if all add ons were mr.}

That sounds more realistic for MGW, Ed002. It must have been in a paper where I read £40M after add-ons, which is a joke.

79 I agree we have shopped well hence looking forward to seeing the new signings in a Forest shirt at home to the hammers, particularly Williams, awonyi and lingard. I think the media just keep associating us with anyone agents alert them to. I also think and hope cooper has made his stance and is concentrating, for now, on what he has got…

Some have been bought for the future though be it in the Premier or a return to the championship
It's win situation if you look at their wages and ages and the fact they want to prove themselves
We've seen what it could cost buying English
40 million for gibbs
15 million for Davis
Both championship players last season and not really wanted by their club
Time is of the essence as well
We don't have time to keep waiting and hoping, you have the major target bit the clubs play hardball so as a well run club you move on to other players on the shortlist
Gibbs white and Davis will stay at their clubs unless they get loan deals back to the championship
Those two guys had good seasons in the championship but their clubs don't care a jot about them and don't want them but are expected to get big bucks for them.
Truth is they won't get anything in two years and they will be loaned out in the meantime
Up to the players and their agents if they want out.

Bang on. Davi worth 5 maybe in a year or so and MGW half what's quoted.
