If messilla is our new sponsor, can not see how they will be able to put money into club, as they only turned over £750,000 and maid a loss of £500,000
So how are we going to compete in ffp?

Don't read into large company profit and Loss's, creative accountants like to paint a funny picture. I know because I do it all the time :P

Mesilla won't be our primary sponsor. Why would a small but exclusive London letting agency advertise in Nottingham. How many football fans at the ground or on the TV are able to afford a £35m property in Mayfair?! More likely their advertising boards are there as a perk for one of the family.
The main sponsor will either be a major Kuwaiti company with strong family links, looking to improve their UK exposure, or a major UK/EU company looking to increase their Kuwaiti exposure, or it will be a straightforward family business owned by Fawaz as an excuse to invest heavily in to the club, but this won't be Mesilla I'm sure, as they have a number of directors, and for the reasons above.

Yes but a company with only a 750k turn over is not going to be able to put say 10 million in sponsorship

Jon - Are Mesilla a family and Kuwait connected firm?
If their business is to get London property for Kuwait companys and, Fawaz intends high exposure for Forest back in his homeland?
Then a sponsorship deal within a family business and Forest playing live over in Kuwait reguarly (i beleive Fawaz watched Forest live when at home?) would make sense?

I cannot access any accounts figures for this company as they are not a UK company but I would assume that this is where any money would come from IF Messila are to be our sponsors.

Hi Pinxton, I agree entirely with your comment, and I have no doubt that Mesilla will have a presence at the club, probably on the rolling adverts. I haven't seen their accounts but if as others say their turnover (income) is £750k per year, then their entire income is a lot less than the monthly figure that Doughty was bailing us out for. To be investing anything like the amount we would hope for as our Primary sponsor would require a large company turning over millions, or a company majority owned by the Al-Hasawis.

Don't know but we still don't seem to know much about the guy and his money or what's he's genuinely worth
