Trying to be positive
Before the Liverpool game I would have taken a point and a point from Arsenal and people would have said yer right good luck with that!
We'll we got 3
Hope that helps
It ain't over ?.

Wilfsson and the point at Brighton, if the arsenal game had been the 1st of the 3 instead of the last, this board would look totally different, I do feel for the fans that travelled yesterday, because I’ve been in that position plenty of times myself, watching us get battered at the likes of reading, Burnley etc, but at least they were in decent surroundings against a world class team,

2.) 31 Oct 2022 18:09:16
Of course we would have all said yes please with a great big cherry on top. It's the the manner of the defeat Arsenal win 2 1 or 3 1 we give a good account of ourselves just get beat by a better team we applaud but the 11 on the pitch completely collapsed took a backward step. Still nice your being positive psl

3.) 31 Oct 2022 18:19:06
We played a very decent team and got well beaten, I just hope we play Surridge next game. He would chace down lost causes, defend from the front. Like you should do, the front players on Sunday lost the ball and just stopped! . It's not just SC, the supporters cry out for a player to play, and the managers just don't get it. It's happened before and I suppose it will happen again? .

I was just trying to lift spirits Stevie f
I wasn’t expecting any points from the Liverpool and Arsenal games but we got 3
It’s probably clutching at straws to use this as an example of how we might get out of this mess,
We live in hope .

I think it was the lack of character in the 2nd half that surprised me. After the last few weeks of being tighter and conceding less, it's back to square one. I'm happy with 4 points from the last 3 games, but we need the same, minimum, from the next 2.

6.) 31 Oct 2022 20:18:33
I think that Nelson was unplayable on the day. Bar Yates' mistake, we've dealt with Saka before. Jesus was well marshalled, that 8 mins did for us, similar happened against Fulham. Players need to wise up quick, PL takes no prisoners.

7.) 31 Oct 2022 21:33:00
Very well said wilf
Looking forwards to two Saturday 3pm kick offs at the city ground and a 6 point haul.

I remember when we came out of the old 2nd division and the so called pundits were saying the bubble had burst. We'll we we know what happened next.
They called it the miracles. Cloughie and Taylor called it good football played by a team of talented footballers, who weren't given enough credit for their abilities at the time.
Steve Cooper, for me, has got it spot on.
Prepare the squad to try and win a game.
Learn from it win, loose or draw and then onto the next game.
Build all the time, try to improve all the time and you never know some of these pundits ( talking heads, blah blah blah ) might just end up eating their own words.
Also, l honestly think this is the best atmosphere at the City Ground EVER
And after all I've seen over the years I don't say this lightly.
David Moyes admitted that he though it got to his players, especially in the first half.
So let's see if we can turn it up a notch or two next home game.
Might save the developers having to take the roof of the Main Stand ??
Lovin It.

Don't know why people even bother with pundits thoughts who cares. I don't even put the match on till they run out the tunnel. Talk is cheap and 99% of it is mindless waffle. I would love it if you could watch the match with crowd noise only and mute the mindless commentary. You don't get commentary when you go to the ground. ?.

2.) 16 Aug 2022 10:58:26
The best thing about having such a good "squad" is that Cooper can pick different teams from it to deal with different opponents. If you add Colback,Yates and Cafu we have a varied midfield to add to strong defenders and good attackers as well as experienced professionals and improving youngsters, so the blend is good. It won't be long in my opinion until we start to frighten teams in the Premier League. Pundits, players and commentators have always been against Forest and our success, but that will add to our club spirit that Cooper has regenerated. Good to see the Owner at the West Ham game: we owe him a lot for getting us Cooper and Murphy.

What a day What a game.
What an atmosphere.
Both teams played high tempo stuff. End to end in that heat. Unbelievable.
Don't really want to single anyone out
but what a fantastic day for Joe Worrall
From a kid in the academy to become captain for our 1st game back in the Premier League
A very proud day for him and his family.
So pleased for him.
Now we go again.
Watch out Everton we might just surprise ya.
You Reds.

My prayers for the the Everton game. Life will be a joy. ?x.

Anyone managed to sleep last night?
Me neither. Was it the heat or the excitement?
I turned 70 last week but I feel like a kid again.
Daft bugger ?
I'm expecting it to be electric today.
Forza Garibaldi have something special lined up I believe.
Don't ya just love this Club and it's Fans
One thing I want to take from the Championship is that fantastic support, especially in the second half second leg playoff against Sheffield Utd, when we're under the cosh. The whole ground on its feet urging the boys on. I've got goosebumps writing this.
We may need more of that this season.
Come on You Reds.

Took the dog out this mornin as usual and chat with football addicts, but why is it that bloody cockapoos are so agressive. The next time there will be a size 10 waiting.

2.) 14 Aug 2022 11:00:56

3.) 14 Aug 2022 11:51:51
Bless you Bowie
I’ll shout a few for you.
My close friend caught c.v. last year
Touch and go for a week or so
Now doing brilliant. it’s took a while and a lot of frustration but he’s almost back to his old self.
He was never normal ( thank god ) ?
You can do it my friend.
There’s a hell of lot rooting for you.
You Reds.

4.) 14 Aug 2022 12:58:40

Experience tells me hold the line guys hold the line.
There's enough so called experts and ex player pundits pilling in after one game.
Let em waffle. In the words of Cloughie
" I hope they're not stupid enough to write us off "
Yes it's an unforgiving League
and so was league 1 . We have the T shirts!
But it will take time to turn individuals into a team.
Against Newcastle we looked overawed,
hesitant and we were out fought.
I thought Newcastle were excellent and were spurred on by their support. So credit to them. We've had a taste of the levels that are required.
Let's see what happens Sunday with the City Ground behind the boys.
We have to make the place somewhere where teams fear coming to.
And we will
You Reds.

Well said mate, one match that's all it was. hopefully a better performance against the hammers.

2.) 08 Aug 2022 15:36:20
We learn and evaluate, and move on. Good lesson learned by not one of the so called big clubs.
Enough of the negativity .

3.) 08 Aug 2022 16:21:44
Don’t post a lot

But read most posts

Nottingham born and bred

As long as Cooper is ruthless we will survive.

4.) 08 Aug 2022 16:46:24
Once we get going, panic over.
???.

5.) 08 Aug 2022 17:53:55
The so called pundits on the box have to say something to earn the money they don't earn what do they know I remember Bob Wilson ( crap goalie ) saying the bubble will burst it DIDN'T they know nothing we need to beat the Foxes please.

Stokey you are a tonic mate.
Can’t stand the news especially in the morning.
So I’m on YouTube watching Billy Connolly, Mickey Flanagan and others. Puts a smile on my face.
You’re now on that list.
Love it ??.

Cannon I was stood near the touch line in the old East stand. John Winfield goes up to head the ball forward to set up an attack. It goes straight out for a throw in!
After the moaning subsided a mate of mine Scooper Longhurst shouted “ bloody hell Winfield you’ve got a dice for a head “
Everyone fell about laughing.
Their player could hardly take the throw in for laughing.
So Dice Head became John’s nickname.
To be fair he laughed himself after he’d told Scooper to F - off! ?.

If Jesse is serious he’s getting a lot of team talk material from all these ex footballer, so called, pundits who were never bothered about the money themselves.
Yer right. ?
If I were Steve Cooper I’d paste all their comments on the changing room wall.
Come on Jesse lad stick it up em.
You Reds.
