i av heard changing the name of the city ground, to generate more funds for billy.
1.) So long as it retains the name City Ground, I have no concerns - eg The Messila City Ground or The Al-Hasawi City Ground?
2.) Yep totally agree keep city ground in the name, perhaps someone should tell Fawaz why it got its name even though its outside the city, but maybe he knows?
Anyway only a rumour a.
3.) You could tell me as well? What's the story with the name?
4.) It makes no odds what the grounds official name is. Newcastles ground is the sports direct stadium but still largly know as st james part.
5.) It actually got changed back to Saint James Park not long after.
6.) Whether any new name includes the words 'City Ground' or not, everyone will still call it that. No idea what the problem is
7.) What happens when St James wants his part back?
8.) Yea no probs with naming cg as always know it as cg+long as brings money in more income the better in ffp
9.) Won't make much difference to ffp if you read the details so not much point. Keep our world famous city ground name!
