Being from Scotland I still watch a fair bit of Scottish football and would def increase offer for Mcginn. Good passer, not scared to have a go. Hope they bid a bit more and get him, tho agree we need a commanding centre back also . Mills no good and Hobbs injury prone.

Huge game v the sheep on Sat. They are on as bad a run as we are with no manager now and must be low on confidence so let's hope we get right in among them. Why was Britt not on bench at least v Burton if fully fit, still our most natural finisher. He gets played up front on his own v Brentford, then gets dropped and Beret on, McCormack and Clough then start. If Britt had any of those players supporting him in previous games it may well have been a different story. We are in last chance saloon now so let's hope Gary gets team and tactics spot on.

Anyone what has happened to ex Forest player Lewis McGugan, don't think he has played since last season after Northampton released him. We all know how much talent he had but never put it all in, but to out of football and for no clubs to go for him seems a bit strange.

With a name like robbocop can you not use your investigative powers? I couldn't find anything by the way.

I think the main transfer will be Osborn to Leicester with Mcginn coming here.

Hope Lichaj stays as one of our best players last year.

Eric was gone when we didn't offer a new contract end of last season, all down to wage demands.

2.) 30 Aug 2017 10:56:47
No need to agree a new contract now as he has one year left and is settled in Nottingham.
Best for both parties to review at the end of the season like we did with Mancienne

3.) 30 Aug 2017 11:00:58
How about Osborn to Leicester, with Wes Morgan coming the other way.

No I'm messing!

The truth is every single player on our.books would go to a Premier club if the price was right. Why wouldn't they?

It is significant though that we are pursuing McGinn!

4.) 30 Aug 2017 11:12:49
Rie. By doing that, should the club not offer him the money he wants he goes for nothing, he may be settled in Nottingham but that does not mean he will accept anything the club offer him.

5.) 30 Aug 2017 17:50:44
Better off with "Piers" Morgan!!! And he's a Gooner!!! Lol!!!

6.) 30 Aug 2017 18:34:40

Matt Mills will score the winner against Sheffield Wednesday and earn himself a new 3 year contract.😭😭😭

11.) 30 Aug 2017 21:33:01
Eric Lichaj is going nowhere this season!

Only time will tell if it was right to let Britt go. How about Charlie Austin, who has not played much lately but would be a great addition if fully fit whether it was on loan or not.

He's not played much because he's been injured and taking there time with him.

2.) 19 Jul 2017 07:27:52
I'd rather have Ings.

So we have players like Clough, Brereton and McCormack on the bench while Pereira and Ward are on the pitch, two players with the same style who cannot be faulted for effort, but will not win a game for us. McCormack, Clough and Bereton all have a bit of class so hopefully we will see at least two of them v Burton. Britt once again up front by himself, the guy can score but needs the service. Cash probably needs a rest but still one for the future. Gary must get selection spot on for Saturday. huge game.

Robbo, with regard to Brit you're quite right. If we're not going to use Brit correctly we might as well sell him, where no doubt he'll score shed loads of goals for his new team. Brit needs the ball playing infront of him on the floor not hoofed in the air when he's upfront all the time on his own. For a start it's very seldom he even wins a header.

Keep reading that we lack strength and quality in midfield, which is very true. In fact even when Lansbury was at the club I still thought this was our weakest area. Hardly any of the new signings have been sited in the last couple of games which is worrying. In Osborn and Cash we have two young promising players so I wish the fans would lay off them, especially Osborne who I think is the most creative midfielder we have since the unpredictable Lansbury left. I am looking for new signings to be stepping up in the next few weeks to take some pressure off our younger players. Sadly once again we are fighting to stay in the division. As for the Billy Davies haters, the best football in the last 10 years or so were played under him so why keep slagging the guy off, he won't be back anyway.

Your right about Billy awful football since he's been gone and all the past players that played for him give him nothing but praise.

2.) 19 Feb 2017 21:54:04
Well said buddy.

Sad to say that this is the worst Forest team I have seen since supporting them, yes the manager is making very bad selections regarding team selections, although at the same time he has had to try and build a team by getting players on loan and free transfers due to transfer embargo. Unless the new owners and new manager (which is almost sure to happen) make a big difference I really fear we could go down, something I never thought I would ever say. I have sadly stopped going to games now which is a great shame as I love my football, but there is no value for money and todays shambles against a Wigan side who had no wins in seven games is proof of how bad we are. As for Lansbury, a lot of fans seem to want him out but he carried us in the last three games we won, and has turned down other clubs in the past to stay here so give the bloke a break. I would keep him here any day but we need other decent midfielders around him. as well as other areas.
