With all the contracts ending of rather decent players all over Europe, would it be better for FFP to get players in that have just came out of contract, surely there are some genuinely great players around who won't want silly money per week?

{Ed003's Note - Here's something to think about wragg - everyone is going on about the ffp rules- If you overspend you get a transfer embargo in January, so why not go all out and buy the best(available) in the summer window and stock up on players just incase promotion is not gained next season,If you do go up a fine will be a small price to pay to get the new riches on offer in the Prem if not the squad will be there for the season after - just a thought I had about how some teams might tackle the problem lol.}

1.) It will be very interesting to see what pearcey does when he finally takes over, I can't wait to see if we can get some exciting even if relatively unknown youngsters playing amongst and being trialled into the team on a regular basis, at least towards the end of last season we had youngsters being tried and 2 did very well, as for buying the best, if stuart can get them to believe the project that we all want to happen, then it will be great to see who will come, all very exciting and at least we have someone who is a forest man and legend at the helm, seems fawaz has learnt a lot since the beginning but surely injuries aside this should be our year. Just need QPR to do the job over the sheep now ;)

{Ed003's Note - It was just a thought I had to open a debate.}

2.) To be honest I don't think we have as good a scouting system as we once did plus clubs tend to rely on stats and videos more than before. We need to re-establish investment in scouts and getting the best local talent into the academy like Manchester United did of old. Until then we will be limited in our insight to talent

3.) Ed I think what you said is a good idea so say we sign 6 players which 6 do you think would be ideal for us?

{Ed003's Note - no idea nlr I was just throwing the idea out there for discussion you guys can speculate on who }

4.) Ed, I like that idea, but (and I know it's just for debate) what happens then when we don't go up and we're left with 6-7 Ishmael Millers filling up the wage bill for the next 3 years? Players want longer contracts and we have been stuck with dead wood for years that no one wants to buy from us…

I would love to see us go all out in the Summer, like you said, but I'd hate for it not to pay off and see us with a squad full of players we can't shift.

Just my tuppence towards the debate.

{Ed003's Note - have to be clever with clauses in contracts I suppose.}

5.) Ed, so what happens if we spend all this money in the summer, then don't go up this season or next? We will be receiving fines and transfer bans every year. Even without buying players every window we will not break even whilst in the Championship.

{Ed003's Note - You only get fined if you are promoted Rob embargo's would be an issue.}

Personally I would love to see Paul Hart back, we were so damn close when he was here and he brought youngsters into the team which any of the worlds best teams do, bring back the legend Fawaz.

Have QPR a bottomless pit of money, spent like mad the last 2 seasons and at it again this season, if they don't get promoted surely they are in serious financial trouble, I know they have a lot loaned out but the wage bill must be frightening surely? and let's hope they don't get promoted :D

1.) Hi I think they spent because we did I think they no we are coming for them we have a strong team now just look at it

Does anyone else think that this could be the year, man city are doing the biz in the premier league and we seem to be doing awesome in this league, to come back from 2-0 down to win 4-2 is special, with the new signings too we are in a really exciting time for the club and city.

1.) We are making fantastic efforts both on and off the pitch. We have a terrific squad which is being strengthened further. We are a club very much on the way forward, brilliant owner and manager and players. let's make some awesome noise on Sunday for our awesome team. c'mon you Reds.

JONRED

2.) Is the match any cheaper on sunday being as its just yeovil (do we owe them a thumping from the time we lost in the playoffs)

What I want is players that give 100%, always willing to go the extra mile, play as a team and dominate others and put the chuffin ball in the net, let's be fair if most of us were offered 5k a week we would run around like muppets for the money and be proud of playing for a team we love, we need more players like Matt le tissier whose allegance to his club was way beyond what most others would do.
