What a great turnaround under Sean Dyche, I’ve missed the last two games as a long planned trip to Oz to follow England in the Ashes has intervened.
The great results have improved the mood! I cannot help but think something went wrong with Nuno at the end of last season and that affected pre season in a very bad way, it’s like the weight of the world has been lifted from the players and they are enjoying their football again, long may it last!

OK I've sat on the sidelines reading, and the above post needs a reminder! Morrilo at left back, brilliant, as was a certain number 3 from days of old! How about him being our free kick specialist with a little psycho intervention? Murillo has the heart, desire and thunderous shot to hit the goal as did Stuart Pearce!

I would rate our current back 4 of Savona Milenkovic Murrilo and Williams in the top 3 in the Premier League with only Arsenal and Chelsea in front of us
And our midfield 4 when all fit of Anderson Gibbs White Sangare and Luis also in the top 3 again with only Arsenal and Chelsea again ahead of us.

I love a stat me! So, Yatesy has now scored his first European goal to add to his record of scoring in all top 5 divisions according to TNT. Also he has now scored on all 7 days of the week……. that’s fabulous research whoever did it! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Also, I like Dyche’s pithy post match comment that he prefers to arrive at a club where the players are fit enough to perform the task not to use the task to get fit! What does that say about the previous regimes? It does explain why this season we have conceded a lot of goals late on ( West Ham for example) ….

I, ve always thought that RY is a much better footballer than he, s let himself be.
He seems to do the job he’s asked to do and not express himself to his full ability.
He never wants to make a mistake or let the team down so keeps it simple.
I think technically he, s better than we see on the pitch, be nice to see him show us the real RY.

Seriously, I thought Malmo set out from the off in damage limitation mode. Played effectively packing bodies in their own half. Difficult to play against like when England play Andorra. Always going to be a win, just whether it’s 3 or7 or 8. Defence v attack and shooting practice.
You can only play what’s in front of you and i'd put Malmo lower Championship level at best. A very professional performance by Forest and a good outing for Abott, the unemployed Victor, Kalimuendo especially, CHO and SD got the young lad Sinclair on the pitch which will be a boost to him and the Academy generally.
Just hope Murillo, our excellent left back, is OK? 😉😉.

How great it was for us to get to that European final, you could just imagine what it was for Malmö, I bet them young supporters have listened to tales of that match from their elders, for the Malmö supporters who came for the occasion, I hope they had a great time in Nottingham, the chances of our two teams being in a European final again, is as likely as, Dawn French winning the London marathon, but you never know.

Good overall performance against a very poor team. I thought Ryan Yates was fabulous last night and CHO had a good game. Interestingly Sangare is starting to look like a decent player, far removed from last seasons displays. On to Brighton COYR.

Murillo did not look anything like a NATURAL left back, though that’s not to say he couldn’t become one. CHO had to tell him several times, that i saw, where to be when we had the ball and where to run. He also had a go at playing central midfield, right and left side of midfield, also a short spell on the right wing, the number 10 role, in fact everywhere apart from right back and goalkeeper! The bloke is an absolute star and top value entertainment.

I'm sure he would happily play anywhere and do a job.
But he is a centre back. Was more likely to get joy going forward than Morato in a team that was looking for damage limitation.
Needs must. Williams needed a break.
Hopefully in a few weeks we will have 3 more full backs available and it won't be an issue.
Was pleased for Kalimundo. He has looked lost since arriving and along with Hutchinson has been a victim of the madness surrounding August/ September.
