So does Troy Parrot!
Quite brilliant scenes!
Well done lads! ??????.
17 Nov 2025 14:31:38
Jude Bellingham, although a talented player, looks like Mr Big I am! I’d be dropping him if I was Tommy Turtle unless his attitude improves. We don’t want any of these histrionics when he’s being subbed in the National team imo.
17 Nov 2025 19:40:45
What Bellingham did last night was poor, England celebrating a goal and he's making it plain that he should not have been subbed, no one player is more important than the team as Ronaldo found out when Portugal scored 9 goals without him.
17 Nov 2025 20:31:24
Drop Bellingham from the squad if he's a got an attitude problem. Easy as that.
18 Nov 2025 06:14:16
Well Done NI!
Playoffs assured!

16 Nov 2025 21:07:50
For cloughs sake dtp, we brought a keeper in, who for me totally settled the defence. Got nothing but admiration for the laddie. You didn't like him from the off, so as PER try and justify your wrongs on football. Just clueless. Ok tell me a better keeper with the little coffers left on ffp? Just tires me when posters reach out in desperation.
Same with nuno. Get behind the squad for taylors sake. Oh hang on you've been there since bill n Ben the defensive men. Reds we ain't doing great, simples. Get on with it.

Look Bowie I don't like six foot three goalkeepers that stand on their line and flap at everything and that is what sels gas always done
Superb shot stopper, but can't do the basic thing 9f commanding his area, which is what all quality goalkeepers do
I cringe everytime a cross or set piece comes in, because I know it will be panic
He's a real unit so why doesn't he use his size instead of getting bullied?
He's made many mistakes and they are there to see, I'm hoping dyche tells him to use his size and dominate from set pieces
When a keeper makes mistakes it has an effect on the defence not trusting him and the whole thing goes to pot
I really hope he can turn it around, but I really can't see it, unless he takes command
He'll pull off world class saves from distance though.
16 Nov 2025 22:36:32
Good luck silkman ???
You both don't like listening to humans, cus your waiting for the aliens to talk to you ???.
17 Nov 2025 03:41:52
There are too many planets in the entire universe for there only to be one with intelligent life on. I don't for one minute believe in aliens as it would make me just as deluded as someone who believes in a God but I least consider the possibility (which is much more realistic than the possibility of the existence of any God) whilst others are convinced of it. The people on Ancieht Aliens who believe it are just as mentally unstable, comical and scarily convinced as those who believe in God. Both concepts are very much tied together when you think about. But the scientific plausibility of alliens is much higher if you measure metrics of both concepts. That's my honest view.
Not sure what Silkworms real view of it is, though.
17 Nov 2025 06:50:58

?????????.
17 Nov 2025 08:35:41
I neither know nor think that I know whether aliens exist or not. Nor do I care for that matter. It's not something I've really looked into. But a friend of mine said years ago that the Pyramids must have been built by aliens as that's the only logical conclusion. He could never explain how he came to that conclusion. He was widely mocked by all.
Ironically he's religious. Which was hilarious in itself as the religious don't do logical conclusions. Hence, their belief in God and the rest of the supernatural world. I think he believes in ghosts as well. And Karma. We still mock him to this very day. Both for his hypothesis on the Pyramids and his devout religious beliefs.
17 Nov 2025 09:18:17
See this is why international breaks are terrible mid season.
Ravers has his tinfoil hat on.
DTP still trying to justify rubbish spouted a year ago.
Silkman talking sense.
Please beam me up Rogie??.
17 Nov 2025 11:17:33
Rumours going around this morning that Jude Bellingham is trying to get on to this site! Scurrilous, surely!
17 Nov 2025 11:38:28
Rogie, excellent mate! I seem to have started a “cosmic dust up” though …. ?????
First of al, I think the existence of God and aliens are two entirely different things. The former is a matter of personal faith, the latter is science based on empirical deductable evidence which, admittedly in the actual absence of sightings is extrapolated from life on Earth and proven scientific theories like Darwin’s theory of evolution and Einsteins theory of relativity ( along with things like geology, evidence from meteor strikes, space probes, the Big Bang work at CERN etc).
It’s like climate change. You don’t BELIEVE in it, it’s measurable and scientifically provable. The only “doubts” are from countries and individuals who stand to gain by obfuscation for personal, political or economic reasons.
Personally I have no Faith in Gods existence but I do approve of the comfort religion can give to people and I am intensely moved by art, music and writing inspired by religion, such as listening to Mozarts Requiem, seeing the Last Hudgement in the Cistene Chapel by Michaelangelo, reading Graham Greenes “ The End of the Affair” or Matthew Arnold s poem “Dover Beach” or the medieval cathedrals etc.
In an infinite universe it’s logical to assume that we are not unique. It’s also logical to assume that ETs will have evolved differently in different climates or conditions ( like black skin or narrow eyes in humans, or evolved abilities in animals to survive intense cold or heat for example).
Following Earth history it’s also logical to think that evolution will result in the rise of human industry with corresponding pollution alongside the development of planet destroying nuclear tyoe weapons whereby advanced societies will be destroyed long before they achieve speed of kight travel. That’s if they are not destroyed by natural forces such as asteroid strikes etc.
Staggering achievements by ancient civilisations like Stonehenge and the Pyramids have a wealth of accompanying evidence of human construction. The great mystery is why an agrarian subsistence society would expend all those resources and man hours constructing these structures? Probably religious and to please the Gods …
As a footnote, oddly, as scientists at CERN for example edge nearer to re creating the conditions of the Big Bang start of the Universe, they are resorting to using quasi religious and mystical ( almost Biblical) words and phrases to explain, basically, how you can create something from nothing……….
It’s like the funky LSD trip in the final bit of Kubricks “2001, Space Odyssey “. How to know the unknowable and present it to an audience…” Don’t even get me started on the King James Bible and the Book of Genesis “In the beginning was the Word”…….
17 Nov 2025 11:41:23
Religion and Aliens has a subject on here is like a lot of stuff on here made up rubbish we all know Jesus is a Forest supporter ???.
17 Nov 2025 13:27:06
Deduce not deduct
By the way, it may well be that aliens approaching Earth see Trump, Putin and the right old mess we are making of it down here that they decide to fly right on past us …….
17 Nov 2025 15:12:37
Wouldn't blame them at all. lol!
17 Nov 2025 15:23:09
Like many posts on here now, superbly written Stokey and I am tending to think you have a career in lecturing/ journalism/ polemics beckoning. I am not one for the "why are we here? " stuff, but I will refer to your post in future, really thought provoking!
Really impressed generally with the written quality of the posts, compared wth the early days-huge improvement.
You are right RHR, these international breaks are responible for us having time to create mini-masterpieces, or bore us stupid? No more 'till March!
17 Nov 2025 16:19:31
Is there life on mars? Ravers/ silkman definitely one. Doesn't take sherlock.
17 Nov 2025 17:11:07
oops! Sorry! Should have read RRH not RHR. I CAN SEE THE IRONY!
17 Nov 2025 17:31:27
Jesus was a nut job, Jester.
17 Nov 2025 17:35:38
Obviously there is, Bowie. Everyone knows that.
17 Nov 2025 17:55:08
I thought you’d be interested in this alien concept Bowie, mate, what with your namesakes Ziggy Stardust persona and Roeg’s masterpiece “ The Man Who Fell to Earth” with your man as the alien Thomas Newton!
17 Nov 2025 18:27:00
I'm a firm believer in men from outer space, they've been here for a while, there all around us. you only have to look at Westminster the place is full of them!. But on a serious note we would have to be narrow minded to think earth is the only inhabited planet in the entire universe.
17 Nov 2025 18:34:02
He's religious so he probably thinks there definitely are aliens. But God built all the aforementioned structures. On his own.
17 Nov 2025 18:40:15
Stokey. Convergent evolution is common. Life has existed on Earth for 3.7 billion years. The eye has evolved many times and alwys converges on the same form. Many other traits have.
Intelligence like ours? How do we know it hasn't happened before on Earth. What if say, a species of dinosaur did?
What if they developed deep space travel and stuff. Went off into space in a space station and their mates were wiped out by a comet. Then they returned?
Aliens.
And now its time for the weather. ?.
17 Nov 2025 19:21:45
No way was there life on earth 3.7 billion years ago. The Earth's only 10, 000 years old. Tops. No more than that.
17 Nov 2025 19:49:12
I thought Shelvey was an alien signing when we had him?.
17 Nov 2025 20:13:15
Ask Bowie about the 10, 000 years old as he's a god botherer.
18 Nov 2025 01:11:22
@Bowie mate i think its psychosis in the case of DTP and dissociative identity disorder with the other one/ two, the pronouns used in the second case would probably be Me/ them/ him/ they/. Her? ??.
18 Nov 2025 11:05:09
Cyclist, Norfolk and others many thanks for all the very interesting “aliens” posts which I’ve thoroughly enjoyed reading. ??????
Before proper football comes back may I leave this thread with the the words of the late, great Les Dawson……
“I was sat at the bottom of the garden a week ago, smoking a reflective cheroot when I happened to glance at the night sky and I marvelled at the millions of stars glistening like pieces of quicksilver thrown carelessly onto black velvet.
In awe I watched the waxen moon ride across the zenith of the heavens like an amber chariot towards the void of infinite space wherein the tethered bolts of Jupiter and Mars hang forever in their orbital majesty; and as I looked at all this, I thought “I must put a roof on this lavatory”……. ???.
18 Nov 2025 18:31:02
Ironically, the missus has put the film 'Signs' on. You couldn't make it up. ??????.
18 Nov 2025 21:18:09
It’s a great film Ravers. I nearly ?my pants when I first saw the cornfield scene mate…….
18 Nov 2025 21:36:00
I saw it years ago. Nothing scary at all happens. The missus was more afraid of it than our daughter and she's only 7.
18 Nov 2025 21:40:19
I put that on without knowing what it was about once. It freaked me out.
Love how international breaks make us spin off in all directions.
18 Nov 2025 23:05:23
I'm at a complete loss to explain how anyone can be scared/ freaked out/ afraid of that film. Me and my daughter was taking the pi@@ out of my missus for it.
18 Nov 2025 23:12:45
Do any of you go out? ?????.
19 Nov 2025 07:23:20
My nights out are Thursday Friday and Saturday. Occasional Wednesday as well.
16 Nov 2025 13:33:19
Good afternoon comrades.
During this international break here’s some more old twaddle only tangentially related to football to pass the time….
In November next year Voyager 1 launched in 1977 and travelling at 38, 000 mph will reach one light DAY away from Earth. It’s currently around 17 billion miles away, by far the most distant man made object.
Light travels at 186, 000 miles per Second so you can work out how far it’s gone in a light day.
( if you can’t imagine how fast light travels, you try switching your bedroom light on and try and get out of bed before the room is lit up ??)
The 2nd nearest star ( our Sun being the closest) is 4.25 light YEARS away.
So travelling at Voyagers speed it would take around 75, 000 of our Earth years to reach it. But the good news is that Manchester Citeh’s FFP hearing might be concluded by then. And people wonder why we’ve never had alien visitors
Our Sun is an unremarkable star, about half way through its 9 or 10 billion year life cycle. It’s on the fringes of our galaxy, the Milky Way, which itself contains billions of stars. We’ve got a great view of some of it on a clear night. It’s a bit like sitting in the corner of the WFCG by the ship containers and seeing the whole sweep of the stadium.
Assuming that the Universe is infinite there may well be an identical Stokey typing twaddle to you lot in a galaxy far, far away……….
As a footnote, Voyager 1 has drawings on it depicting how to reach our planet and nude sketches of a man and woman to show aliens. It also has the sound of a human baby crying and a blue whales underwater bellow, as well as music from Beethoven to Chuck Berry. The scientists decided not to include any JS Bach in case the aliens thought we were showing off……….
Enjoy each day comrades, it’s a miracle that we are here at all. The chances of life on Earth evolving are about the same, according to the boffins, of a powerful hurricane blowing through a scrapyard and leaving behind a fully operational airliner……….

16 Nov 2025 15:18:21
We have had alien visitors. They built the pyramids and Stonehenge and drew the Nasca lines amongst other things. Surely a man of your education knows that, Stokey. Get a grip man.
16 Nov 2025 18:25:18
??Ravers, I can see why some think that but you’d be amazed what the ancient civilisations could build with the technology and knowledge they had at the time ( together with unlimited slave labour).
16 Nov 2025 19:33:34
Have you not watched Ancient Aliens? There's over 250 episodes. They can't all be wrong. Think about it. Expand your historical knowledge my learned red friend. ?.
16 Nov 2025 19:35:27
Them spliffs have got to you raver ????.
16 Nov 2025 19:36:51
I agree with Ravers. Pumapunku, Machu Picchu, Moai, Sacsayhuamán plus many many more. The list goes on.
16 Nov 2025 22:50:32
Good grief. Get a grip of yourselves Gentlemen. What a load of old tosh. What you're talking about is even less realistic than Edu making a positive contribution to our club. And that, in itself, is far-fetched.
16 Nov 2025 23:48:45
They never seen the periodic table and the evaluation of mankind lego
All backed upped by scientific evidence, but a few programmes on tv have convinced them that the aliens have been here already?
Spliffs must be good? ???
Not that I'll ever do drugs
Whatch out aliens about? ????.
17 Nov 2025 03:12:05
I think we've got them right on the end of the hook, Silkworm. Well at least on my part anyway. Ancient Aliens is brilliant comedy by the way. The ancient astronaut theorists ae about as believable as the religious theorists and the folk that believe in ghosts, ghouls, goblins and karma. ??????.
17 Nov 2025 03:13:27

17 Nov 2025 20:14:29

15 Nov 2025 18:11:36
Me to Jester, ravers i actually posted that last night when we were all bickering. ?.
15 Nov 2025 19:00:49
Who was bickering?
Think someone had a bit to much UB40 ??
See sels dropped a right clanger again today?
We'll need a new keeper.
15 Nov 2025 20:28:25
I remember you saying that about Sels at the beginning of last season.
He went on to get the golden glove.
Relax.
Don't worry about a thing Every little thing is going to be Sean Dyche!
15 Nov 2025 21:05:38
I never worry it gives you wrinkles that you can strike a match on?
Sels is playing really badly atm, so by my way of thinking and putting it out there he will become a good keeper again? ??.
15 Nov 2025 22:26:31
He's a problem on a serious note
Like I've said he'll stop long range shots, but will never command his area or come off his line at corners
He's been sussed.
16 Nov 2025 08:00:42
Is the Golden Gloves award just for clean sheets or other statics?
If it’s just for clean sheets I don’t think it’s a true reflection on just the keeper.
16 Nov 2025 09:29:13
. and he would probably be the first to say that mate, still a brilliant keeper.
16 Nov 2025 11:43:17
Dtp mate over a year later your still trying to prove yourself right about him let it go mate golden glove last season in one of the best leagues in the world already proved he's up there with some of the best ?.
16 Nov 2025 12:18:53
Rogie I think Brilliant is pushing it a bit tbh. he's an average Premiership keeper at best.
Just to add to I really don’t get the way keepers are coached to punch the ball now even when it could be caught, I suppose there must be a reason.
Hopefully catching comes back in vogue like a long ball and long throw ins.
16 Nov 2025 22:19:42
Pineapple you've hit it on the head mate
Why can't folk see his mistakes?
MGW has had far more criticism, so is sells not allowed any criticism?
He's cost us a lot of goals, the fact I highlight it doesn't go down well, but it's the truth
Same with MGW giving goals away trying to dribble in his own half, sels won't come for crosses, these are basic things in football that needs to stop ir it costs goals.
17 Nov 2025 20:49:59
The bloke keeps us in games time and time again, it's no coincidence he got the accolades he did last season and joint winner of the golden gloves, they normally give that to the shite keepers of course?
17 Nov 2025 21:24:02
No use keep going on about last season, that's gone
He's playing badly this season is what matters
That can't continue or we will be in big trouble ginger.
18 Nov 2025 08:05:17
We're already in a relegation battle, DTP. How much more trouble could we get in to?
18 Nov 2025 08:23:41
Ravers don't worry, Leeds and Burnley will be in bottom three with wolves by Christmas.
15 Nov 2025 12:29:42
Been really impressed by the way Sean Dyche had handled himself since he's been in the job
He's made his feelings known when wrong decisions have gone against the players but hadn't bemoaned injuries he has carried himself very well imo
My neighbours wife works in the canteen at the training ground and she was saying what a brilliant atmosphere there is around the place lots of laughter and banter.
Agree6

15 Nov 2025 12:52:34
Enthusiasm is infectious. It doesn't make Dyche a tactical genius, but if the players are asked to do a job they can, then it goes a long way.
15 Nov 2025 12:57:34
He's such a big relief from Ange.
15 Nov 2025 14:00:19
What the exciting attacking manager that wins a lucky trophy evert now and then ??.
15 Nov 2025 14:01:26
I bet the players have already had a "Who can do the best Sean Dyche impression", and think he would take it in good heart. Just hope the players come back injury free from these internationals, especially Anderson, who I would like to see rested against Albania!.
15 Nov 2025 14:23:03
Think he will be Mossy I think Wharton will play.
15 Nov 2025 15:53:57
Tuchel seems to really rate Anderson, I hope he doesn't have any influence on him to push for a move sooner, rather than a lot later.
15 Nov 2025 19:35:46
Must admit munmad, Dyche has impressed me so far, he's mixing it up and is playing to the squads strength, he's got MGW scoring with his head, that's a real plus
If woman can show a few hiw to take a set piece and cross a ball then no problem climbing the table.
15 Nov 2025 19:42:14
Once they are on international duty it's more about the top players talking and selling their clubs to the likes of Anderson
I doubt Arteta hasn't noticed how well Anderson compliments Rice either?
15 Nov 2025 20:00:27
Woan, woman? ?????.
15 Nov 2025 21:37:33

No football sadly today but at least we can have a few beers and watch some of the egg chasing.
Not a bad start at all for Dyche to be honest and hasn't at all been sit back defensive stuff, fair play.
We have a very good squad, much better than some of the teams around us and think we will be out of the bottom 3 by the end of the year for sure. We have a few players to come back as well, good stuff.

I'd rather poke my eyes with hot pokers than watch rugball.
A decent start and hopefully we can build on the good result and performance we saw against Leeds. 4 points in the last 2 games is definitely the way forward. You Reds. I still think one or two additions in January is needed especially a midfielder because I'm not totally convinced by Luiz's fitness. Quality player but the niggles are a bit concerning.

I’d be looking at maybe bringing another striker in aswell Raver as without Wood we look a bit wanting up front. Jesus is a work in progress, tries tries hard and never stops running but he’s not the finished article yet and I’d be binning Kalimuendo back off to the frog league, you can just tell already that he’s not going to be good enough.
On a positive note, Awoniyi looked okay when he came on against the Yorkshire Puddings, hopefully he can build on the performance, get some confidence back and bag a few goals. I’m still not so sure about Ndoye either? He’s yet to convince me. But i get the new team, new league and new country bit so he deserves a chance to up his game a bit. We shall see.

I'll have a few joints and watch Soccer Saturday on Sky Sports instead.

New league, new team and new country for Kalimuendo as well and he's only had one start and given no service.

So ta bed,
Got into this club not just for the amazing two mechanics of football, (fix anything and put it into cruise) but what they worked on. The amazing parts that fuelled and kept THE machine rolling, hard ta find those fragments now, but my how we wished we had em all. Love this club till I die COYR.
