welcome lars. According to someone who says he knows things, we are still after wilson as well, could be true considering we got fryatt and lars without breaking the bank.

Think Blackstock will be gone soon, so yes I can see another Striker, we have to be prepared for injuries Suspensions, I can see Wilson in that should be the strike force sorted at last :-)

2.) 12 Jun 2014
Blackstock will not be gone soon as he is still injured and won't be fit till September/October time I think I read so if we were to sell him it won't be until january at the earliest he may go out on loan, but with his injury history it would be a big gamble for any club to risk. remember there was talk that his career maybe cut short due to his injuries.

3.) 12 Jun 2014
The fact is that Wilson is very happy at Coventry, Coventry don't want to sell him and see him as an important player who they want to build a team around, however Coventry need the money, so not sure what will happen, imo I can't see fawaz spending 3 million on Wilson, maybe 1. 75 with add ons If we get promoted

4.) 12 Jun 2014
Well from what Brian Eastwick said about Lars not going straight into the team and being one for the future, I guess there may be need for a someone to partner Matty (assuming Cox, Mackie and Patto are not being considered for that role). Could be a 4 2 3 1 formation?

5.) 12 Jun 2014
Telford red, read the article again mate Brian Warwick says he may not go into the team straight away and hit the ground running, meaning he might not be a massive hit straight away, but he will be in the team/squad

6.) 12 Jun 2014
Gazza, You're right mate, misread that one cheers. Still wouldn't hurt to have a third genuine striker with pace like Wilson. Happy Days.

7.) 12 Jun 2014
We can't just load up with forwards who expect to be playing first team. We'll play a maximum 2 strikers. Fryatt only signed because we would have pretty much guaranteed first choice football, at least first team squad for Lars and if Wilson came I would expect the 3mil price tag would warrant first choice aswell. Someone will be upset along with the others we already have. Only Chelsea and man city can cope with have quality sat on the bench and eventually they get fed up. Best to go for a young up and coming forward who's glad for the chance to sit in the first team. Don't know who bit can't see it being Wilson when Bournemouth are bidding and probably offering guaranteed first choice.

{Ed034's Note - there is no place for sensible comments on here thank you ;-) lol

8.) 12 Jun 2014
I totally agree mate can't rely on Cox or Henderson.

9.) 12 Jun 2014
Bromsgroverec red, no player is guaranteed first team football? Competition up front is what is needed we have shipped a few out already, need another striker at least, lack of goals cost us last season!

10.) 12 Jun 2014
I'm not saying we don't need another striker, it's just we won't get someone like Wilson without certain assurances. Goals cost us yes but a hungry young lower league striker would be better.

11.) 13 Jun 2014
Are we never happy forest fans?. We have just signed one proven goalscorer and another when he settles will bang them in for fun

12.) 13 Jun 2014
A lot of fans on here seem keen to get in a young, hungry striker who won't cost a lot. maybe we have to look no further than our own academy. Tyler Walker is very highly thought of and with Pearce and Brazil overseeing his progress, he could be one to watch out for.

Let's hope this Dutch-English strike force is as good as the previous two.

Don't know about you Ed. But there seems to be a few Reds calling for lower league players, who will play with the desired passion. Mr Pearce will DEMAND, Desire, Commitment, passion and pride, regardless of any players age.

{Ed034's Note - totally agree
