It's being reported that Burnley are chasing Lansbury, let's hope we can hang on to him

1.) 24 Jul 2014
Lazy journalism at best!

2.) 24 Jul 2014
In my opinion we should do our utmost to keep Lansbury. He's one of our top players and could have a major role to play in our efforts to get out of this division. Seems daft to contemplate selling such a key, important player. Some players are more easily replaceable than Henri would be were they to be sold. Just my opinion of course - what do the others think?

{Ed034's Note - I think 99% of fans agree

3.) 24 Jul 2014
A) if he moves it will be closer to london not further away B) Burnley only paid their top players 8k to 10k. he's on more than that at forest so why move for less money

4.) 24 Jul 2014
Why would he want to move to a club that will probably be back in the Championship next season. Hopefully he will reach the 'promised land' with us.

{Ed034's Note - didn't everyone say that about palace? One good season in the premier league and more established clubs come knocking

5.) 24 Jul 2014
@stormingnorman you mean he'd be further away nottingham's only 118 mile burnleys just under 250 mile away ;)

6.) 24 Jul 2014
I reckon Forest are a club on the up. Just need to get out of this division and that time is coming! I know there are always comings and goings but if we can keep our best players - together with the up and coming youngsters and all the management and chairman then we could be flying once we get up there.

7.) 24 Jul 2014
No chance they would not be able to afford him

8.) 24 Jul 2014
We've already done this! He would never go there, he has much better chance of staying in the premiership with us! 1more season and he will be there, and burnley will be back in the championship! FTID

{Ed034's Note - he's already there with them lol

9.) 24 Jul 2014
This article by a sports radio show has no credibility as there is no mention of the fact he is out for 2 weeks! Whoever wrote the article doesn't know what they're talking about! Anyways, there is no chance forest will sell, SP is building his side around Lansbury, he will be integral to this seasons success!

10.) 24 Jul 2014
I was hoping that the certain sports radio show where I saw it was full of bull.

11.) 25 Jul 2014
2 Million + Danny Ings and maybe they can have a deal ;-)

Have any of you been to Burnley? I mean honestly! Wigan are also interested in Lansbury but being in the same league as us, I wouldn't think he would be interested. The way it was written in the red top paper though made it sound like both of these clubs were in some way superior to our mighty Nottingham Forest, that amused me!!

13.) 25 Jul 2014
How can you say burnley aren't in the same league as forest we got promoted with 1 of the smallest squads in the league without hardly any money. Lansbury would fit right in and they is more chance of us staying up then u getting promoted UTC!!!1

{Ed034's Note - burnley are above us at the minute and its a bit disrespectful of forest fans to say other. as a club i would say forest stand a better chance of breaking top half of prem, due to the backing we could get in the prem and fan base being a little more.
lansbury would command a fee of around £5m, so really it is dependent on 1. your transfer budgets and 2. your wage cap. I presume you do not know this, so unless you do, you cant really say you can afford him, just like i can;t say you can not

14.) 25 Jul 2014
Some statman has put it together that Lansbury has only played 40% of his time with Forest. the rest He's been Injured. now I like the bloke. but the management might have other idea's. there's always a deal for any player. good or bad

{Ed034's Note - he came injured and was getting over it when joined, so that's a tad misleading

15.) 25 Jul 2014
Methinks its Agent talk. but Burnley is a stones throw from the Manchester nightlife. love these rumours. keep it up ed'

{Ed034's Note - i'll try my best

16.) 25 Jul 2014
Henri has told Burnley after 3mil bid that he is going no where and his future is at the city ground

17.) 25 Jul 2014
Lol 3 Mill :-) do one Burnley!

18.) 25 Jul 2014
3 mill is a bit poor seeing as though McCormack went for 11mil

19.) 25 Jul 2014
If it only ends up being burnley who put in an official bid for Lansbury we will be ok, no disrespect intended but they are favourites to be relegated and overall aren't the most attractive clubs to play for. I would be more concerned if it was a southern prem team bidding. No point leaving to play in a relegation do fight where his style of play will be suffocated.

{Ed034's Note - they are more attractive than we are at the minute

20.) 25 Jul 2014
I don't agree, even though they are prem, they are still burnley.

{Ed034's Note - they are in the premier league. One good season in there has you can be in the verge of England and a top six side. You can't be with forest

21.) 25 Jul 2014
I hope he gives us till January, sees how we doing and decides to stick around

22.) 25 Jul 2014
Lansbury is worth more than a move to the prems poorest side, granted he must want to play in the prem but it has to be the right club and I severely doubt Burnley are it. They are punching above their weight and everybody knows it. They will be down next year and we will be up :)

{Ed034's Note - that's up to him to decide

23.) 25 Jul 2014
So where exactly in London is the suburb of Burnley?

It's grim up north especially with a posh name!

Lazy journalism or the Ginger One getting a bit ahead of himself?
