Reports on the be saying Fawaz has put a ban on any new contracts until the takeover has been completed. Also saying Lansbury and Worrall could be in doubt because of this but they are contracted till the summer and surely it won't take that bloody long to complete.

It's feasible to believe contracts will be on hold until the takeover is complete. The worry thing is other clubs can offer contracts for next season in January. I'd like to think we would get compo if Worrall was to be pinched though as he's U21.

I understand that nothing will be done during the exclusivity period, what I didn't understand is why reports are saying that we will lose Lansbury and Worrall because of it. If they are contracted till the summer why would this happen? Surely the takeover is imminent.

Lansbury can agree a pre-deal with another club in January to then leave in the summer on a Bosman free. Birmingham are sniffing around and are wanting him, the club needs to get this sorted asap.

Thought pre-dontract deals in Jan only applied to transfers abroad! ? Not Birmingham!
