Team spirit and a feeling of “we are in it together” bring teams through like Brentford, exceptional quality like Wolves and Fulham saw them home. It’s early days for our team, but sadly I see neither.

Rf - you missed out the one factor that gets you promotion whether you have millions to spend or not - Neil Warnock as manager, and to think we could have had him .

Oh and by the way, he is English.
I for one do not rate the obsession with foreign managers.
We have good managers in this country.
