Forest to enter negotiations with the Wolves board again over Bakery Sako, well known that Sako is desperate to move and Forest is his preferred choice.

We really don't need him, he's a wide left player and we have Abdoun and Patterson there now, he can play as a striker but I can't see him as the hard working target man Billy wants

I could understand us going for him if we weren't creating chances for our strikers but we are creating loads its the strikers that's the problem so maybe bd is going to play him as a striker

To be fair Abdoun needs more discipline in his play. Plus we could do with cover for Abdoun & Patterson. Tbh, I see Billy using his pace and strength up top.

Haha I would have taken him before but now he has his chance and did not help the cause by rejecting to put a transfer request in

Why another winger when we have two excellent playres in Abdoun and Patterson who are worthy of the premeirship, we need an out and out striker

I'd be happy to see him arrive and strengthen the squad but I don't think he is worth the £3-4m price tag as previously touted.

Get him for a couple of mil and I'd be much happier. Although, it's not my money so why should I care? :)

Think about it guys, if either pato or abdoun get injured, then what? leaves us a little short in the wide areas. Sako would give us options and help increase competition for places. Although his wage demands would be interesting, just hope they are realistic.

Don't think he would fit into our style of play, also Fawaz wants loans, which is smart in case we do make the prem so we can improve the squad without having to off load first

In the unlikely event that both Pato and Abdoun get injured, Andy Reid is not a bad left wing. Failing that, I expect Halford could fill in. I wonder how Pato would get on as striker - his ball control and eye for the goal are a lot better than Cox.

{Ed034's Note - one thing cox has got is fantastic ball control. pato is good at twisting, turning and running at defenders. the formation we play does not suite pato as a striker. the only way he could, would be as part of a front two

Depends on the price I think. Wolves will have to have dropped their unrealistic expectations for this to be a good deal in my opinion. He'd be a very good option if the price is reasonable.

Don't think either Abdoun or Paterson are natural wide left players. Reid is but he likes to come inside and lacks pace as well. A quick strong left-footed winger is exactly what we lack at the moment. But do we want to get involved in another drawn out saga? Hope its done quickly.

Paterson is not a central striker. And Greg Halford on the wing? Are you having a laugh?

We play with two widemen, so it would be nice to have four quality widemen in the squad - Paterson, Abdoun, Mackie, Sako.

Reid's best position is in behind the front man. He's a good left-winger but his lack of real pace and excellent ability on the ball makes him a better No10.

Watched sako at county v wolves this season and he wasn't interested
All left footed and was easily marshalled out by what was then a very leaky county defence
Showed nothing spectacular and got easily frustrated
As soon as clubs learn to push him onto his right foot his secret will b out
If they don't sell for 1. 5-2 million then tell them to stick it and when they come begging in May when they haven't got promoted then it's us with the upper hand

I get the impression that Abdoun is just putting himself in the shop window and will jump at the first sniff of a better offer. I've loved watching him but he looks a surly, sulky blighter which can't endear him to the other players. In which case we need another winger to go with Pato even with Harding's best efforts flying down the flank.
