Young Ben Osborn has agreed a new 5 year deal that will commence in the Sumer just been announced by fawaz exerlent news and well done Osborn hope he kicks on now

Fawaz did state earlier in the season that he was going to sign a squad of promising youngsters to build a team for the future. he's good as his word and its about time the doubting thomases realised this.

I believe Fawaz mentioned from the moment he took over Forest that he wanted the success to be built around the development of youth. Some where along the lines it fell a little by the wayside but I'm glad he's back with greater emphasis on youth development. A lot of said Fawaz doesn't know what he's doing etc. but this highlights that effectively he does. He was running two strategies side by side with the youth work going on behind the scenes whilst Billy went for the big signings.

Whatever happens, it feels like we've got our Forest back. I can't wait for next season.

Actually ed I was replying to the Fawaz interferes too much brigade, of course I am not naive enough to think that SP is not talking and putting things in place ready for his tenure, I was merely trying to say that technically what Fawaz does between now and July 1st is his business and nobody else' s

but like you say he was no doubt contacted, so if that's the case, it has got something to do with him

I've never been on Fawaz back, despite a disappointing end to the season.
We had success under Clough with a youth policy, so I hope it continues under Fawaz and Psycho.
Considering some of the poor signings BD has made this season.
Rome wasn't built in a day, Fawaz will succeed, it will be hard again next season hopefully given the chance Pearce will bring in some good players and weed out the chaff.
Bring on the new season.
Have a good break Fawaz and recharge your batteries. Not making the play offs gives us extra time to make the changes.
