Hi Ed, in your time as Editor here, is this level of negativity about usual after the current spell of results? Ok we've not hit form yet, but we have some key players out, still very much in the mix, have top players, outstanding manager and a superb owner, have beaten Derby and Leicester, and yet folks still moan and moan and moan zzzz.
Come on, its not like those hideous days under Megson and Kinnear. I'm sure the same fans would be outraged if we were 6th in Prem and missing out on a Champions League spot - what an abject failure that would be!
Even of we don't go up this year, we'll have a great squad and be top 2 next season. Have faith fellow reds, we will get there. All the best, Jon

{Ed034's Note - the two previous managers got more but it wasn't as negative as this. He few that want billy out are just going over the too imo with the amount if negative and just how negative the posts are.
I think it's because last time we all knew what was going to happen, where as this time we don't.
If we don't go up this year, for me we have to keep billy as he will have his squad finished and we'll be in better shape and settled next

Reading over posts blatantly bypassing obvious issues can be equally as boring in my opinion. The difference between the current regime and previous is the level of expectation, I was sold on the idea of premiership and 14 points from 42 games is leaving me feeling short changed. With all the meticulous planning Billy is famed for and the funds at his disposal, why were we not ready to smash this league. Team building and formation is taking far to long to materialise. i'm a home & away man, I don't want Billy out I just want him to get it right.

That's not the point. Nobody would compare now to those days.
But actually the hype is caused for me by people on here being too positive before results back it up. And by the club itself. If you arrange a promotional video to Kuwait talking up wealth and backing etc and show off someone's house in Mayfair, fans are bound to expect more. That was their call, not ours

I agree with CJ, I like Billy and believe he will get it right but things aren't right, very few are wanting Billy out just want performances and results to improve

I would like to add to the last post and say this, fester are the most settled team in the Championship followed by the from down the road very few additions to a very settled team. If we don't go up this year we will have the same. I for 1 still have the faith in Billy and Fawaz. So stop being so defeatist bring on the next game and just wait and see F. T. I. D

Ive been moaning ed but I don't want to lose billy my problem is the team havnt been up for it from the first whistle. If u look at the table it shows we have lost the same as leicester and 1 less than sheep but we are 8 and 4 places away from em and we've not started up for it and had to chase games. We can't blame injurys because we come out and do it second half with the same injurys

{Ed034's Note - I agree. the biggest problem is not scoring goals like everyone seems to think. it is walking out and being on it as soon as the whistle blows.
injuries has mean we have not had a neither our best 11 out or a settles side

Knives are sharpened and ready by a small minority but most so called negative posts are not really as negative as some people make out - they may show concern and ask a few questions but imo there's no denying that most fans are still 100% behind the club (billy and fawaz)
