Lars now has 6 from 5 games. Scoring for fun. Just goes to show what a bit of game time can do for confidence. I read a poor report that said he'd done nothing for forest in 14 games. Whilst he did make 14 appearances the total game time wasn't really enough time to give a good account of himself. If he keeps netting we might need to recall.

Its probably because they play a different system, maybe 433. At Forest we are now using 4411, its a defensive set up that would not suit Lars. He is not a hold up striker but given the chance he can obviously score goals. But we knew that before we signed him.

Don't understand the logic in loaning lars out and then taking hendo on trial.baffled me,we have seen hendo and know he isn't good enough but we havnt seen much of Lars so can't really judge.we should of got Lars involved in pre season and seen how he got on.we could then of decided weather we loan him out or keep him.

Do you really think no one saw him play apart from in the brief appearances he made for the first team? No practice matches, u 21, training matches?

Let's face it he's an homer who wasn't up for the challenge of being away from home. Consequently he didn't fulfill his potential. Is that the clubs fault?

Yes that's with a view to a perm but look at what happened with Hobbs and others.

Keep talking him up and by the time he's scored all these goals and ripped the league up we won't be able to afford to keep our own player.
Real Madrid will offering 20 mill.

Didn't fulfill his potential?he was bought in as a young player that we could develop over a season in the reserves which due to our injury list didn't happen as he was thrown in at the deep end and fans judged him on that.so yes it was partly the clubs fault.how can you give a player 10 mins here and there 5-6 games apart and make a decision on how he will cope?fans want Maynard to sign for us but he hasn't scored for us yet,does that mean he's crap?

YEP! Correct!!

If he was any good he'd still be here? Just get over it instead of fearing you might of lost something good and hankering after it.

He's 21, a fully grown man, scored a load of goals in a crap league and been found out to be no good. Hendo scored 21 champ goals one season but is he a good striker? No!

He couldn't hit a barn door and only wants to snap people arms off as soon as he comes on the pitch.
If you build a team around a striker and play at a low level he will get goals no matter what. Lars was never going to get that here as he didn't have more ability than the other players who were fighting for the same place in the team.

Out of his depth and knew it.
