A lot of speculation about who this mystery striker is, Murray Hooper Nugent Crouch etc the only thing that makes me sceptical is would any of these players play for 10k a week ? Can't see it myself as much as I'd like it to be true

If it is a loan signing then the parent club may be willing to pay a portion of the wages. Especially if, as Dougie says, it is a favour owed to him.

Why would a player drop in wages just so his manager can do a mate a favour when his agent could tout him out and get a better club and more wages?why would that club do df a favour by us not paying a loan fee when they could get one from another club!
