That loving feeling is returning to the City Ground. At last we have a club infrastructure to rally around after years of make do and mend, smoke and mirrors?

We are not out the woods yet but it is becoming clearer that the commitment is there to make things happen?

AK is a proven winner and has invested wisely to date which is why he will be fully backed this summer by the owner.

Is now the time for fans to invest in the future and commit to back our owners punt at promotion next season?

Forest are currently 28/ 1 to get promotion next season. If the equivalent number of people to our best attendance bet a full price match ticket price on promotion next year and pledged the winnings into a City Ground Fund and the Team Forest punt came in, then the proceeds would fund a new 10,000 capacity Main Stand and other ground improvements.

Investing fans would then have a better than 1 in 4 chance in a ballot of winning a seat debenture in the new stand as a return on their punt.

Just a thought rather than investment advice on how fans could commit, engage and hold a real stake in the club? After all most of us have a matchday punt on a result?

Fantasy? Well IMO it's a damn sight better punt than the share flotation offer from those City Spivs back in the day?
