Lots to ponder on after tonight's performance
Sangare looks a player and will only get better
Hudson odi looks class and a real steal
Don't think Worrall and mckenna works?
Montiel had a mare
But most important is MGW, another por performance from the man we rely on to make things happen, he had three different strikers to supply in one game but was really poor
Against man City i'd drop him to the bench
To many fancy flicks that don't work
Thought he let the team down tonight?
Not scoring and not knitting the team together as he should all season
Maybe needs a rest? Not had one with the under 21 england side taking up his summe
Cant carry paassengers in this league no matter their quality

Agree with all of that post Downthepub, a good honest and balanced view of the players and match……. good meeting up with you two at the match…. as always, thank you for being two genuine, honest and top mates, obviously same goes for the one and only Bowie, nothing against anyone on this site as all opinions and views are valid weather we agree or disagree FTID YOU REDS.

I'd play without an out and out no ten 2 star especially away
I'm sure MGW will come good again, I believe he needs a rest at this moment in time though as he didn't get one playing for England u21 over the summer.

Fair and perceptive post DTP. Can’t fault any of that analysis. I must admit my heart sank a bit when I heard Worrall and McKenna together with their combined lack of pace at this level although they do better in a 3 centre back combination with a bit of pace to cover for them. We still have Niakhate, Felipe, Boly and Murillo to come back and Aurier can play there as well.
I think the style will evolve as all those players are comfortable on the ball and will step up into midfield with it to get us moving. We looked a bit ponderous last night.
Montiel had a nightmare but I think we will be hearing a lot more about his tormentor Luca Alosho? in the future. He reminds me of Eze at Palace. Very quick and tricky.
