Awful first half performance, terrible. Sangare playing pre-season friendly standard football. Lack of ability in the 18 yard box is costing us not passion, managers or team set-up. We can't shoot well enough and can't cross well enough - look at some of the finishing from other teams on match of the day tonight. Too many players who aren't good enough and we should have signed a dangerous striker who can stay fit for at least half a season. On the positive side Sels had a respectable game (couldn't really fault him) and Yates did everything a midfield player is expected to do. Shooting has got to improve quickly.

I thought they were very poor and the fact we couldn’t beat them says it all.
Sangare obviously doesn’t want to be here and is playing like it although I can’t see anyone coming in for him as he is so bad
Gibbs white on set pieces now becoming laughable his corner first half had me in pieces
I can’t be the only one that sees we have some good players but just not being managed correctly.

Spot on RHR! If you look at other teams there is a difference, how big - I wouldn't like to push it. The Palace players looked strong and skillful but MGW's chip for Woods was inspired. Wood is limited but he has been great for us with crucial goals. Is the boy Ribeiro worth a shot on Tuesday?

Norfolk it was a great finish from wood, not anywhere near as easy as he made it look.
