As far as I can see mW doing a good job with the players he has and the bit of money he had to spend if its anyone's fault we are not in top 2 its maronakis for not giving mW enough money maranakis out.

1.) 03 Dec 2017 21:12:59
4 good pro's to replace the 30 somethings down the spine of the team playing no nonsense footy when needed and we are sorted?

Owner and Manager IN!

2.) 03 Dec 2017 22:13:35
I'm in total agreement with you there red.

3.) 03 Dec 2017 22:18:18
Playing 30 something's players is short term, we are trying to develop the club in the long term.
Can't believe some of the fans on here

4.) 04 Dec 2017 23:08:58
Chugs you miss read he said to replace the thirty something's.

28 Nov 2017 08:06:48
Mw doing a good job as expected this season. next season we will be expecting more from him but for now we're looking like top 10 finish will be happy with that 😎😎😎😎😁😁😁.

1.) 28 Nov 2017 09:17:43
That is a proper and realistic expectation, it would be a huge improvement from last years final day heart palpitations.

2.) 28 Nov 2017 10:06:36
Disagree. Top ten in the prem is realistic buf in this league top 6 is a reasoable target. Brighton and huddersfield got there on low budgets. Just good simple football strategy. Strong no nonesense footballers.
I would never campaign for the removal of a manager like people did with freedman but our manager makes the strangest of decisions particularly playing lightweights when a more robust approach is called for.

3.) 28 Nov 2017 10:47:00
One step at a time. give MW some time. only one season in charge and you are not happy. Great job so far and with should a young squad. Future is bright

4.) 28 Nov 2017 12:38:57
ayup skeggy - top 10 this season and give ourselves something to play for next season - i'd be very happy with that!!

5.) 28 Nov 2017 14:12:30
Christmas has come early!!! Welcome back "Skeggs" hope alls well mate.

6.) 28 Nov 2017 18:06:17
Skeggy is back, hello ,Skeggy is back, hello!
CARLO PS when will I be able to use the old words ,back in thePL

7.) 28 Nov 2017 20:36:46
we have to be happy with top 10 finish after last season, see what he can do in the transfer window but i t

8.) 29 Nov 2017 10:42:24
Top ten haha dream on!
Unless the defense is strengthened in January we don't stand a chance.
Take a look at the table it makes interesting reading. Only 2 teams have lost more games than us and we are the only team in the top half with a minus goal difference.
We have only totally outplayed one team in the first 19 games.
The win one lose one run will eventually come to an end with the wins more likely to become draws rather than the defeats.
Having already lost 10 we are on course to lose 20 or more games. Teams losing that number of games over a season in the championship finish below the bottom 10 never mind in the top 10.

9.) 29 Nov 2017 11:30:37
Red Fred - bah humbug πŸ€”

10.) 29 Nov 2017 11:50:54
But if we sign Aden Flint and James Chester in January we will make the top 2 πŸ˜€.
Oops I forgot, we'll need more than that cus we don't score enough either ☹.

11.) 29 Nov 2017 11:56:10
There are 13 teams that have already lost 7 games or more,so I can't see them suddenly changing either, most of those will be on course to lose 20 also if we use that theory.
Football at this level is too hard to predict where we'll end up come the seasons end.

12.) 29 Nov 2017 12:34:07
Exactly! Tell that to the top 10 brigade πŸ˜‚.

13.) 29 Nov 2017 14:53:38
Heard we might be signing "Wiiiiilllmaaaa!!" She'd be a "Bedrock" at Centre back!!! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

14.) 29 Nov 2017 17:48:23
Bottom of the table have lost the same games as 2 teams in this league that have lost more than us that’s burton and of those is just outside the relegation zone the other in it.
There’s only 4teams that have concede more than us 3 of those are in the relegation zone.if warbo got a little more streetwise he could turn some of these defeats into draws.then we would be cooking on gas.shame he hasn’t got that in his the rangers and Brentford fans said.its his way and his way only.

15.) 29 Nov 2017 18:08:35
Our inconsistency will see us finish in the bottom half. Mid table at best. With Lichaj leaving in January, after rejecting a new contract, we will need a right back, a couple of centre halves and a striker. We won't be able to afford all 4.

16.) 29 Nov 2017 18:15:11
Well if the average is 20 losses and we cannot draw that's 78 points and the play offs, which is better than our 69 point projection on results so far?
Anyway is all bully bully as unless we got 138 points and a goal difference of 100 the Formoaner's would still be popping out the woodwork!

17.) 29 Nov 2017 18:36:38

You say our inconsistency will see us finish in the bottom half.

Have you thought about any players we get in January might improve the team?

Have you thought about our team might sort out it's inconsistencies the more they play?

18.) 29 Nov 2017 20:04:09
Rangers and Brentford have both gone backwards since he left,be carefull what you wish for as that's two managers that have failed to reach the position where he left each club.
Rangers fans were all bullish cus they got a foreign manager and foreign players, coming on here, in peace to slag off Warburton, they're not now and the manager made a pigs ear of it.
They have now hit rock bottom and lost to the bottom side, bet there's more than a few would like him back.

19.) 29 Nov 2017 20:24:52
All might's and maybe's, GreyandRed. As from what I've seen up until this point of the season is what I'm basing my opinion on. Which is all I can do. I can't really see one or two signings altering the consistency levels in all honesty.

20.) 29 Nov 2017 22:51:28

I suppose the difference between you and i is you think about what is and i think what might be.

Off course if we were really struggling i would find it harder to be hopeful.

New players will not give us consistency, but could improve the team.

Consistency comes with playing together and therefore knowing what others are likely to do and where they will be.

21.) 30 Nov 2017 05:25:35
Rangers haven't gone backwards they are 3rd.
Bearing in mind the level isn't of championship quality they are still 3rd. .like i have said in previous posts consistency, cohesion and synergy is needed. but you have to take into equation the possibility of injuries but isn't that what training is for to gel a team?
Us fans don't see how the team trains or what's entailed in their training?

22.) 30 Nov 2017 10:12:14
It all takes time and patience. Consistency will come with more games. We need to strengthen at the back as we have no depth due to sicknotes.

23.) 01 Dec 2017 10:36:18
4 big strong experienced players in their mid twenties down the spine of the team will start to iron out the inconsistencies and make us contenders in this league.

This will give us a platform for clean sheets and a more direct style when required against the spoilers of our tippy tappy football which will then become more effective.

Carry on squad building Mr Warbo a man with a clear plan which is very refreshing for a Forest manager!

24.) 01 Dec 2017 11:30:58
if you look at brentford and rangers its taken MW atleast a year to get the team where he wants them to be! i'd be happy with a top 10 finish but who knows it could be more than that this year if we make some signings in Jan! in warbs we trust! you reds

29 Oct 2017 17:51:02
Mw the difference between a good manager with no defence and df with no defence. stick with this man were going places if we do, you reds.

1.) 29 Oct 2017 19:49:10
Well that’s a load of mumbo jumbo Jay!
Have you had too many spins on the waltzers?

2.) 29 Oct 2017 21:37:54
Will this diatribe over DF from you skegs ever cease. Leave it now as Dougie was a forest player and manager who gave us everything. Show some respect.

3.) 30 Oct 2017 14:51:25
Skeg dougie did an amazing job under a lot of constraints and a bonkers owner.
I'd love to see you do a better job!
Show some courtesy skeg.
Skeg, the difference between a mushroom and algae.

4.) 30 Oct 2017 17:46:11
Ha ha just can't let it go πŸ˜‚

5.) 31 Oct 2017 18:20:03
Skeg, what would Dougie have done with this squad and owner, not the dross he was dealt. As stated you can't let it go, the thinking posters realise what a great job he did.

6.) 02 Nov 2017 06:14:16
Hear hear johnny, i concur.

23 Oct 2017 20:30:14
I'm struggling to get my head round some fans moaning were 4 points off play offs we dominate possession with a few more acquisitions come January we could be in with a chance of play offs come end of season which should never happened with the money spent and top striker gone in mw we trust coyrs.

1.) 24 Oct 2017 08:00:15
Skeggs comments on eric please????

2.) 24 Oct 2017 10:51:55
I know skeggs. Its crazy. If anyone had said to me straight after the Ipswich game last season, we would be just off playoffs after 13 or so games I would be over the moon. I know there are improvements to be made but people need to get real.

3.) 24 Oct 2017 12:26:39
Personally, I think the frustration is coming from how many games we've lost. I said in a previous post I haven't seen us play much this season but that when I have I've been slightly bemused by team selection and rigid tactics (i.e. not adapting to the opposition before or during a game) - others have said that MW has done this in games I haven't seen, so it could just be that he is learning his squads strengths and weaknesses. Our league position says a lot about how competitive and unpredictable the league is this season!

4.) 26 Oct 2017 02:48:35
Agreed RedRadish. I don't want Warburton sacked but we have lost too many games so far this season. His tactic seems to be shit or bust in every game.

24 Sep 2017 14:57:03
Our defence looks bad, Wednesdays is a joke and top 6 team last season cavilhio probably be sacked at the end of this game

1.) 24 Sep 2017 15:29:21
Beat us at a canter though

2.) 24 Sep 2017 15:36:38
Perhaps but Sheffield Utd showed how to play in this league. High tempo pressing the opposition in their half. Getting the ball forward quickly and players supporting quickly. Our defending not much better than Wednesday so could be on the end of a real hiding next weekend with our pedestrian way of playing.

3.) 24 Sep 2017 15:52:45
Syred thwt is exactly what we are missing

4.) 24 Sep 2017 21:25:22
Bet MW is sacked before him skegs πŸ˜‰

Let's get these rubbish England games out of the way and get back to what really matters forest and beating the sheep to oblivion 5-0 coyrs.

1.) 09 Oct 2017 16:19:33
Couldn't agree more Skeggs, how's it going mate??? Hope all's well.

2.) 11 Oct 2017 09:49:32

5.) 11 Oct 2017 17:24:04

6.) 11 Oct 2017 18:24:21
Looks like your on the "Evian" mate!!! πŸ˜–πŸ˜–πŸ˜–

7.) 11 Oct 2017 19:42:53

8.) 12 Oct 2017 22:52:29
Looks like the only way is up? SkeggsπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

24 Sep 2017 14:54:44
Looking forward to Tuesday night hopefully Brereton on the bench will be a tough game but can see us taking a draw easy

23 Sep 2017 19:29:36
Thought that second half of football was some of the best I've seen forest play in years were 2-3 players off being a very good team also Murphy looking good for 2 million mckay exceptional well done lads and mw onwards and upwards.

1.) 23 Sep 2017 19:38:02
Nurse !!nurse !! He is out of bed again πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

2.) 23 Sep 2017 19:42:36
Definitely better second half, need more intensity for 90 minutes and for me BB should be on the bench, the right hand side of the pitch is defensively poor, Lichaj right back and play Darikwa in front as a winger or Ward when he's fit because that's where it fails, again they are making there own problems,

3.) 23 Sep 2017 19:42:46
Some lovely football second half, I think we need somecent wing backs but heyho MW will sort it

4.) 23 Sep 2017 19:45:44
Agreed Skegsjay. If the middle three can add more movement when we get forward then we will start ripping up some trees!

5.) 23 Sep 2017 19:46:34
yeah strange that when you show some urgency and (RUBS HIS EYES IN DISBELIEF)some foward looking passes you can actually (head scratch) create goal scoring chances.Pity first half was complete opposite, but we'll lose more than win when teams play 2 halves of football and us 1

6.) 23 Sep 2017 19:46:46
How did you know 1952 are you stalking me just had appendix removed little bit worried about this ed I have a stalker 😨 lol

7.) 23 Sep 2017 19:49:07
What about the first half Skegs?
You forgot to mention that lol.
Can't win anything only playing one half.

8.) 23 Sep 2017 19:51:39
Nice one mate 😁

9.) 23 Sep 2017 19:53:34
I'm not and never said this team is fantastic all I've ever said is with time and a additional few players next season were going to be a very good team and first half not great red

10.) 23 Sep 2017 19:54:25
With respect , have you just watched the same game as me , apart from the first 15 minutes that was poor. Same old problems , soft defensively, thought it was a bit slow on the build up tonight I'd like to see things moved forward with a bit more zip , Murphy took his goal well but apart from that had little to no help up top what so ever . Also the managers substitutions baffled me why change like for like why not get Cummings on & go 4 4 2 when you need to get back into the game ?

11.) 23 Sep 2017 21:28:42
Fellow posters please get a grip the reason why it appeared to be a better second half was because the first half was so dire about 10 mins of half decent pressure will not paper over the cracks its was total dross and the great away support deserved better

12.) 23 Sep 2017 21:55:16
So what are you saying?
What do you want?
Be nice to know

13.) 23 Sep 2017 22:59:20
Im saying i would like to watch the trickies keep the ball for more than 3 seconds and not treat it loke a hot potatoe and pass the ball to a blue shirt and not hit 40yard passes over the heads of our players anyone remember when we last scored a goal.from a corner ?

23 Sep 2017 09:18:54
Let's hope today mw keeps the team playing his way and also that Brereton pulls is finger out or I would start leaving him on the bench, coyrs.

1.) 23 Sep 2017 09:47:55
Skegs: Brereton needs to be played in the middle alongside Murphy not on the wings - supposedly that's why we have got wing-backs to run at defences and centre the ball. Both he and Walker are being wasted out of position. Today I'd be hoping for Bridcutt's best game so far - he could be captain material if he shouts loud enough.

2.) 23 Sep 2017 10:42:39
Sorry Skeggs, you set this one up. .what is the MW way? Get over run in the first 20 minutes, concede a goal, change formation, then dominate possession without scoring ourselves. Then in the 85th minute, we have a change of personnel, normally like for like players, and we stick to the same game plan that didn't work. Does this sum up the MW way?! With that all said, I'm still hopeful for a win today!

3.) 23 Sep 2017 11:28:55
Leeds is the only game we have not scored i think.

4.) 23 Sep 2017 13:32:59
Easy win today and I wouldn't play Brereton at all to be honest just hope by the end of the season he is still worth a few quid so we can sell him this rate we will not be able to give him away

5.) 23 Sep 2017 14:35:01
Skegs. No one knows how good Berereton will be, but in my opinion i think the lad should come off the bench and have him and Carayol running at Villa.

21 Sep 2017 08:03:14
Guess what we need a defence and goalkeeper guess what we need a defence and goalkeeper guess what we need a defence and goalkeeper wow do we ok just going down corner shop with my big wedge of cash to pick some up keep some of the fans happy lol mark Warburton can you please listen to some of the fans on here that know how to manage a football team πŸ˜›πŸ˜›πŸ˜›πŸ˜›πŸ˜›πŸ˜›

1.) 21 Sep 2017 09:26:55
Skegs we do not need to spend a penny. The players just seem confused by warburton. They need to be unleashed and not burdened by tactics. Some players like brereton need resting and some others need to come in that is obvious. The hand is dealt until january. Warbs needs to get the best out of his sqaud find his best eleven and get a positve drive and mindset within ths squad. His chopping and changing is confusing for all.

2.) 21 Sep 2017 09:50:54
Rutland can you tell me our best eleven you would stick with and it's got to be one that no other fan on here disagrees with put your eleven up and let's see what happens

3.) 21 Sep 2017 09:52:33
Ok skegs how many seasons do we need to have one of the worst defensive records in league before a manager can see these defenders have played under different managers all with different tactics but all with the same end result strengthing midfield and strikers didn't seem a problem surely any manager taking on our defensive record would think ok that needs an addition or 2 I'm not saying sack him.but how long can we stick with this defence with the same problems game after game season after season

4.) 21 Sep 2017 10:39:21
Skegs you just want to argue instead of agreeing to differ. Its warbs to find his best eleven he works with them daily, however you asked so i will put up AN ELEVEN based on fitness and who has figured this season. I have put murphy in but velios would be considered
Smith, lijchai, hobbs, mancienne, darikwa
Mccay, osbourne, bridcutt, bouchalkis
Cummings murphy.

Murphy gives good options and works hard and has a goal in him. But criticism from fellow red is fine this team would benefit from a fit ward and vaughn. Dowell could replace bouch but their you are. Stick with it let the players play to their strengths and not a conceived pattern that a failed footballer come manager thinks they should play.
