We are below Bournemouth and Ipswich in the league. Not a great sacking bearing in mind the form since. Did Fawaz honestly think Brazil would do better or totally misjudged the attraction of managing Forest. I'm not a Billy fan. Never was but give a guy until the end of the season then judge him. Poor Stuart now not only has to deal with a team that missed out on the playoffs but disorganisation and low confidence. Brazil has not changed anything other than blood 2 youngsters into a confidence sapping team. Those questioning Lascelles and Darlow ' s heads being turned. Wouldn't you turn your head working under your 3rd manager in 12 months and finishing 11th.

We hear it all the time. Stick with someone. I didn't like Billy but we would not have finished in 11th that looks about where we might end up.

Its unfair to blame Gary brazil for the mess we are in. He has had his hands full picking up the pieces and raising confidence and morale. Yes nothings changed results wise and we are all hurting and its hard to be positive at the moment. Gary is doing the job fawaz asked him to do, Pearce doesn't start till july 1st and other managers didn't want the job so yes he wasn't 1st choice but he isn't a scapegoat either. U reds!

{Ed034's Note - some of the things I've seen directed at Brazil is pathetic

Agree with you ed. Iam optimistic ed and I would of liked Gary brazil to of come in and had the same impact that tony pullis has had at crystal palace we all would but we have to be realistic and without knowing the full facts we don't know how difficult Gary brazils job has been behind the scenes.

I think it's a little bit unfair the stick that Fawaz and Brazil are getting.
Fawaz has supported a large squad of players, it's not his fault that half the squad have been injured. Half those players out on the pitch yesterday wouldn't even of kept the bench warm let alone lace there boots up, yet there we were at 80 minutes getting a vital point against a premier league assembled team managed by one of the best English managers since the great man. Yet hear a lot of people are slateing our 3rd team off managed by a temporary manager. Come on, be realistic!
You put our injuries into any other squad in the league and they would be relegated already, even fester.
As for Brazil, he's done his job he's not a manager he's not experienced in dealing with pre madonnas his normal squad of players are hard working hungry youngsters wanting to push there way into the first team, not players that are guaranteed a game because there is no one else left fit to play instead. Just look at Osborn, fantastic player, as long as we can keep him he'll do us all proud.
Fans slateing Greening, well his not. meant to be playing this year, his meant to be on the coaching staff taking his badges, yet when we needed cover he stepped up. 2/3 M. O. M performances.  Yes we could of done with a really strong experienced manager when Billy was sacked, but they didn't want it. So we get on with what we have. I think we've all got to accept that this year was a bad year at the office just like 92/93. We need to regroup, retain the good clearout the bad get rid of the disappointment and move on under Pearce.  Looking forward to promotion next year.  Coyr's

In reply to luke where have you been in saying not a great sacking. I say a fantastic sacking and a brave one. That man had a personal agenda andfelt he was as big as the club. don't care what the curcumstances or how well placed we were any man who treats his employer with such disdain deserves the sack and no compo. We needed someone to keep things ticking until the season ends that's all. The disruption and hurt caused by davies all but ended our season anyway. Gary has done his best and amy shortfall cannot be placed at his doorstep. Keep positive as the squad players are showing themselves in there true light, not good enoigh and with the qulity coming back next term then pearce given time will move our club forward. These are good times believe me

Brazil has just been bought in to fill a gap. Were the play offs a really possible route when he came in? Maybe but only maybe. He would have had to have been a miracle worker to turn out form around that quickly. There are currently three men running our first team, U21 team and U18 team. How are they supposed to manage that? I'm not blaming Fawaz, I think the sacking was right and the decisions since have been right. This move should have been about moving on from this season, gaining information for Pearce and trying to win a couple of games to regain some confidence. I would like to think pearce is having some influence now as the season is over. If I was him, I'd want to see some youngsters play and give some fringe players a run out, people like Gomis and Harding. Then he can have a better idea of who he wants to keep and buy next season before July 1st. If we start preparing for next season now, we'll have a massive head start on many other teams in the league.
