I've been banging on about how everyone on this site keeps undervaluing Jamaal and Karl when Premiership interest in mentioned.

The market is now backing me up
Borini sold by Liverpool for £14m
Ulloa sold by Brighton for £7m
McCormack sold by Leeds for £11m
OK they are all strikers but my point is that the entry level price for a Premiership squad player is now £10m+
As we are not a selling club any deal we do where one of our up and coming stars wants to go then we need to ensure we get at least £10m + resale %
I am still waiting to hear feedback from my CEO interview! LOL

Bob and no are a few words thatcome to mind here - give us some examples of similar transfers and you could maybe make an argument but just because a few players (completely different ages, positions and situations) have gone for over 10 mill it doesn't put that value on any of our players. Maybe if a bidding war started we could sneak the price up a bit but realistically 6 mill with add ons and a possible loan back? would be a sensible figure which would enable us to buy a replacement and help towards ffp. i'd rather keep our young talent but fawaz needs to balance the books and ffp in its current state will not allow him to keep subsidising the club, unless we all volunteer to pay extra for our tickets, merchandise or maybe have a whip round to help cover the losses?? :-)

Agree wit redinexile, if we can't get more why not? Zaha was around 15 mil to man u what's he done? One good season in the championship, rhodes was 8 mil to Blackburn and wasn't he still in league one?

Didn't Curtis Davis go for around 10m
When he was still in championship.
Not gone on to become a international.
Hold on to lescelles unless a 10m deal comes our way
