Well eventually got home after really long day,
yesterday I thought the game was really good first half but I thought blackpool were a little better at closing down second half and we seamed to run out of ideas.
some really good positives MM at back read the game very well and when hobbs back I think they will be very solid. thought CC was excellect and worked well with AR in midfield and together closed down play and created some good oppertunities. Thought MF did a lot of work and the right hand side with Burke and Hunt did very well.
The disappointment for me was antonio thought he struggled to beat defenders and also his distribution and tracking back wad a little dissapointing perhaps he will come better for more games.
Was also a little dissapointed with assombalonga and thought he should have done better with the oppertunity when put through, I hope he learns quickly and gets smart as that the championship defenders are a lot better than league one.

all in all as only 3 out of 11 that started yesterday played last season so we have some very posative times ahead.

Not very positive there my friend. I though Britt looked good just a bit raw and will settle nicely.

The lads must have been in shock for he first 30 minutes with the crowd noise. They came down to earth son after but were 2 up!

This is far better than we have been used to. We would have scraped a 1 nil the last few years, this year we win 2 nil and could have had a lot more.

When the injured lads come back we will be too strong for many teams in this league. Lansbury, Hobbs, Wilson, Lichaj, Blackstock. BOOM!

You are being very critical of yesterday's game, give the team time to gel. First time a lot of them played together, suppose you will be first one back on here, saying I told you so, no pleasing some folk.

Give the guy a break for god's sake. He travelled up from Dorset for the game and is entitled to his opinion. I don't think he was over critical at all, just telling it as he saw it.

Some people just love to try to put a negative spin on stuff don't they. Was a very promising performance, lots of positives, the new lads all did a good job. Good things to build on. Atmosphere terrific. No negatives from me. FTID

Brilliant I love a good reaction from my fellow reds.
reading my post back I don't really think I was to harsh, just honest.
the only critasism perhaps was for antonio, I think he did struggle but as I have said i'm sure he will get better for games.
as for our 5 million man he just needs to be a bit smatrer which again with games i'm sure he will do.

it was our first game and as said i'm sure we will become stronger when the team plays more.

A small observation re Brett. What are his strengths? I think they are running onto the pass not with the ball at his feet. Does that remind you of anyone? Give the rest of the players time to adjust and he'll score plenty of goals. I thought he did well in his first game
