Unlike quite a few on here, I like cricket. In fact I love it.
I'm enjoying watching England ladies this morning. Some of the commentary comments are difficult to understand though.
Apparently the Aussie batters "like it in the slot".
I have absolutely no idea what they mean.

Last time I played cricket I was the bowler, both teams went for a tea break while they was waiting for my delivery, as I got a little carried away polishing the ball………. ?????.
