I believe one way or another Big Joe is heading for the PL , hope it's with us.
He's improved greatly since his return from Rangers and although still making the odd mistake they will become a thing of the past in a year or so.
People who criticise him forgot he's still ab very young player and will continue to learn and improve, also got a good character.

Rumours of Worrall and Cash going to PL clubs but nothing concrete. Worrall won't want to go IMHO, he loves Forest. However having said that still wondering if Osborn has found his feet at Sheffield United yet.

2.) 15 Jul 2020 12:31:11
I think if we don’t get up he will stay another year very much depends when his contract up if we don’t go up and he only got year left will have to sell. Think cash will be gone in summer but if we get good money then chance to use that for building stronger squad which we need.

3.) 15 Jul 2020 20:38:02
If we don't go up both worrall and cash will go to premier league clubs.
We are in a good position as we have players we'd lile to keep if we get to the prem or we can sell for big bucks and allow us to spend to get there without worrying about ffp.

4.) 15 Jul 2020 21:29:47
For sure FF - you’re on the money mate .

5.) 16 Jul 2020 10:56:31
Agree, its set up for both outcomes but I think we could potentally lose 3 or 4 of our best players if we don't go up, but it will bring in a lot of money to build for next year. Hope we do go up and keep everyone, but our form is not great going into the last few games.

Jake Taylor heading back from Port Vale ,lots of good reports from Valiant fans .
Could he be the next off the line, save some money ,got to be better than some recent signings .

My Mrs son is from Stoke and her lad follows Port Vale. They would keep him if they could. Apparently he might not fit our system so would need to alter his game but is good enough to play at a higher level given time.

Jake Taylor returned from Port Vale ,their fans are raving about him ,could be another off the production line .

We know we're going to need a striker in Jan. and the name Assombalonga has been mentioned but they say never go back, but I would go back, back to Peterborough for Ivan Toney

Or Mo Eisa, both already on 9 goals a piece.
To be honest in terms of a striker signing I’d be tempted to recall Tyler Walker at Xmas and give the lad a go.

2.) 06 Oct 2019 10:32:51
Yes Perks, he banged two in again yesterday. Surprised we sent him out with the lack of strikers at the club now.

3.) 06 Oct 2019 13:20:33
Deserves a go. He goes out on loan and scores goals. can't ask anymore really. Different type of player to Mir as well.

4.) 08 Oct 2019 19:40:13
Gary hooper is available on a free transfer. wouldn’t be a bad signing on a deal until the end of the season. when fit can score goals at this level.

Who's this Fotis Loaniddis geezer?
Sounds like a dodgy condition if you ask me!

2.) 07 Aug 2020 18:14:50
apparently we are in pole position to sign him if u believe the media. here we go again linked to get another player nobody has heard of who scored 5 goals in 20 games last season. how many more times. proven quality is what we need. if it's true then all I can say is, when will we learn our lesson.

3.) 07 Aug 2020 21:00:28
Yeh rogie
If his name was lotus?
Then he might be the teal deal 🤣🤣
We usually sign "loan he does"😁😁.

Many clubs will not be spending their usual amount of money in the current crisis ,us included ,some on here need to get real!

Carlo you are quite correct. Football is approaching a critical stage. In the end it is a form of entertainment that most of the time we enjoy watching! It is similar to other areas where income and therefore survival depend on an audience. This virus will keep us away from the City Ground I suspect for the rest of the year. Just like any professions there will be more and more casualties the longer this goes on . Will common sense finally prevail and a cap put on wages and agents fees. The Sky induced gravy train has hit its buffers. Forest has to cut its cloth accordingly ie get what we can for Matty Cash, trim the squad considerably and tread water this season. This means playing the under 23 Mighten, Johnson, Walker etc and see what happens.

2.) 04 Aug 2020 12:06:39
That’s fine but we better not sell our better players if quality isn’t coming in.

3.) 04 Aug 2020 17:39:50
We,ve done it before !

4.) 04 Aug 2020 18:11:44
Hopefully we finally learn.

5.) 04 Aug 2020 22:29:09
I agree there will be less spent, which will mean the club will have to gamble on cheaper players like everyone else.
We have a more than reasonable core of a squad that nearly made it.
The youngsters that were blooded will be better players for the experience and who knows maybe a couple of new ones are in the wings to join the first team squad.
A natural goal poacher and creative midfielders are the weakness in the squad.
The interesting situation to consider is the 3 relegated from the Premier league. They will all lose players to the big boys but how much will they spend to try and get up.

Just read the Marti O,Neil interveiw. and it just about confirms everything we suspected at Forest ,managers have their hands tied and have done for years ,this is surely the reason we,ve had so many and the reason success has evaded us for so long ,it won,t change any time soon so more of the same to come ,that,s seems inevitable, not saying a manager should have complete control but he must have his head to be able to manage
alot more than permitted at thCG.

1.) 03 Aug 2020 17:22:28
If you hire a 1st team coach they are there to coach not to manage or buy players, the person or people that bring players in are the dof or duff as many have said, the owner/ board as they’ve got the money and the agents ie that bloody mendes fella who gives wolves golden nuggets of players an we get youth team players, just think wolves got neves for 15m who was captain of Porto an we got Carvalho for 13m there’s just no comparison is there.

2.) 03 Aug 2020 20:36:12
Hardly any clubs give managers free reign nowadays.

02 Aug 2020 13:41:57
Sounds like we're in for more of the same with duff looking for more gems on the continent, more gems?
The idea that this will work has been turned on it,s head at Liverpool ,can,t see Klopp having anybody festered on him he didn't want ,now they will be on top for some time, this sounds much better to me but not going th happen at Forest ,more poor journeymen ,not good,
