When I watched it live I thought it was a good challenge RedStripe but having watched it again Gibbs-White was out of control. He seemed to lose his cool late in the second half - the lad needs to calm down and work on his finishing and he will be a better all round player. On the positive side this should be a good opportunity for Anderson, Ward-Prowse and Jota to take their chance against Fulham at home next week and win the game with no excuses.

Compare Gibbs whites challenge to that of Man Utd’s Martinez vs Crystal Palace and he didn’t get sent off which if he had connected could have been a career threatening injury.
