Some bloke called Jashari from Club Bruges has apparently turned us down because he wants to go to Milan.
Pity because if his first name is anything to go by, he would definitely be up to the job.
1.) 13 Jul 2025 14:15:33
We seem to have a penchant for bidding for players who don't want to come. Have to hope at some stage we find somebody who does want to grace the CG.
2.) 13 Jul 2025 14:34:41
He could have stiff competition getting a game, the last thing we need is a flop, he looks confident, you could say cock sure of himself?.
23 Jun 2024 19:56:31
Probably just lazy journalism but we're supposedly after Gnonto from Leeds.
Whenever I've seen him play I've thought he's a right pain in the arsenal so it's a yes from me if it's true.
1.) 24 Jun 2024 15:23:33
He’d be a good challenge to the already excellent wingers we have in CHO and Elanga. He looks fast and tricky when I’ve seen him for Leeds and Italy.
It’s a yes also from me provided it doesn’t cost us points under FFP.
2.) 24 Jun 2024 19:24:13
Not heard a dickie bird about the interest in CHO from Spurs and others, thought he would be gone after all the speculation.
02 Aug 2019 13:40:16
Cheer up guys. Just heard we have rectified our right back problem.
Alan Hutton. Four year contract. Same agent as Murphy apparantly.
1.) 02 Aug 2019 14:29:40

2.) 02 Aug 2019 16:36:35

3.) 02 Aug 2019 17:04:44

4.) 02 Aug 2019 18:17:12
Better off with "Alan" Titchmarch!
🌻🌻🌻.
5.) 02 Aug 2019 19:37:14

6.) 02 Aug 2019 19:38:04

7.) 02 Aug 2019 19:49:00
Or Betty Hutton.
8.) 02 Aug 2019 21:08:27
Who is she?
9.) 02 Aug 2019 21:50:51

10.) 02 Aug 2019 22:03:12
Shes the cats mother, Betty Hutton?

09 Mar 2019 23:18:43
Did anyone else see Milosevic feel his hamstring late on in the game. Hope it was only cramp.
Excellent defender. Brilliant positional awareness.
1.) 10 Mar 2019 04:25:12
O’Neil really knew where our weakness was from day one didn’t he
2.) 10 Mar 2019 10:07:08
Wague can always step in, no problem.
29 Jan 2019 11:07:02
Tyler Blackett from Reading on his way in.
1.) 29 Jan 2019 11:20:53
I only read we'd offered 500k. Accepted?
2.) 29 Jan 2019 11:56:07
Might be out of contract in the summer
3.) 29 Jan 2019 12:48:49
Regular England youth international only 24 can play left back and centre back. Looks like we are covering Robinson. A pinch if only £500,000.
4.) 29 Jan 2019 13:45:29
Ex man u dross no thanks, look what happened when we had that Stewart from manutd admittedly many years ago but all he kept going on about was how they did things at old Trafford- I'm sure dj had a big fall out with him !
5.) 29 Jan 2019 14:16:05
This is just bizarre !
6.) 29 Jan 2019 16:20:26
What is bizarre
7.) 29 Jan 2019 23:57:21

No idea what the team will be tonight but I don't want to see, Murillo, Malenkovic, Williams, Anderson or Gibbs-White anywhere near the squad.
Where's MUNMAD when you need him?
1.) 22 Jan 2026 12:40:48
Posted above mate.
18 Jan 2026 12:38:44
Had plenty of time to reflect on my long journey home to North Yorkshie last night.
What a fantastic atmosphere. It cracked at times. I genuinely felt sorry for you guys on here who would love to be there.
It was a great effort too.
A hard watch at times and frustrating we couldn't make a bit more from our half chances. Oh for Elanga in a game like that.
Overall very satisfied. If that atmosphere and that performance doesn't spur us all on, then I'm not sure what will.
1.) 18 Jan 2026 14:31:58
Elanga is a big miss for us.
2.) 18 Jan 2026 15:28:36
Great post Gazzi! ??????North Yorkshire! Great effort mate. Makes my journey look pretty average and piddling. Whereabouts in North Yorkshire if you don’t mind me asking. We have friends in Knaresborough…….
3.) 18 Jan 2026 16:12:05
Elanga an also ran, for the toon gazz. I'd have him back.
4.) 18 Jan 2026 16:19:08
Be careful bsred he's staking you out ??.
5.) 18 Jan 2026 16:57:00
Oops gazz ?? only joking stokey.
6.) 18 Jan 2026 18:25:38
Hey Bowie beware my friend. My wife is organising a stay later this year in the North East, either Lindisfarne or Nevilles Tower in Bamborough Castle. Be afraid …. Very afraid …?????
Seriously.
like North Yorkshire the North East is a beau bit of country. We stayed in a rooms above a Gatehouse overlooking Alnwick Castle a few years back just up the road from a pub called “The Dirty Bottles”?
7.) 18 Jan 2026 19:00:07
The history of lindisfarne will blow you away stokey, remember to get the tides right btw. Funnily enough last time I was there, took my father in law. Loves our history. Walked into a cafe and some laddie shouting YOU REDS YOU REDS having seen my forest jacket ?? bless him. I remember thinking, a new saint on a pilgrimage.
8.) 18 Jan 2026 19:04:22
Visit holy island a lot. But again stokey be well aware of tide times bud. well I say bud don't take to your trump issues. But promised eds to make an effort.
9.) 18 Jan 2026 19:23:36
Bambourough castle for me is better than alnwick castle stokey. Apart from the gardens. You really will be blown away with history from our areas. ?.
10.) 18 Jan 2026 19:55:50
Remember hadrian didn't just put a wall up there for horrible Scottish football. We were the last in defence.
11.) 18 Jan 2026 19:56:37
Thanks Bowie. I have been to Lindisfarne twice before (once when I was at Uni 50 years ago, Venerable Bede and all that) and when we stayed at Alnwick a few years back. Both times the trips were curtailed by the aforementioned tides.
I love the history mate, especially the thought of that isolated beacon of learning in a barbaric world of darkness, destroyed eventually by vicious Viking raids.
I will endeavour seriously to constrain my anti Trump remarks on here out of respect for you and your good wife. It’s just fear for the future for my kids and grandkids and it’s nothing personal towards you and yours. I apologise for any offence I’ve caused ….
12.) 18 Jan 2026 20:14:58
Bless ya stokey. appreciated ?.
13.) 18 Jan 2026 21:28:37
Bowie you should tell stokey the story of how you met your wife, he'd be fascinated i know i was.
14.) 19 Jan 2026 00:04:45
?? long one dtp.
15.) 19 Jan 2026 17:44:35
Thanks Bowie. I was impressed by the gardens at Alnwick castle. I remember a very good guided tour around the Poison Garden done by an Ulsterman called Paddy who told some grim anecdotes in a very spooky voice ( think Vincent Price with an Irish accent). Brilliant!
Oddly I remember also a very short but odd conversation with a Scottish gardener who stopped work to ask “ Would you prefer to be English or Scottish? ”
I said ( taken by surprise) English, definitely “
He grunted and said nothing, just stomped off and went back to work with his mates in a flower bed.
I can only assume my reply ( honest though it was) had lost him a bet! ….
I believe the Percy family still own Alnwick Castle?
Have you ever been to Flodden Field Bowie?
09 Jan 2026 08:55:59
In response to the posts below regarding time wasting and feigning injury.
It's so easy to put a stop to it. Play time out like they do in ice hockey.
30 minutes each way, clock stops when play does.
The ball is in play less than 30 minutes for the majority of matches so you'd actually get more time played.
Also introduce a ' delaying the game' yellow card. If the referee thinks it's deliberate then show the card.
Absolutely no point trying to waste time.
Worth a try? Thoughts?
1.) 09 Jan 2026 09:10:08
If referees clamped down on it and started giving them yellows which they are supposed to do for simulation it would be fine, players should be given the option to appeal their booking post match in person with the ref in case of actual injury. ?.
2.) 09 Jan 2026 10:24:32
2 Stars?
Would you have preferred it if we'd signed Bela Lugosi?
I would have, at least he would go for the "Jugular "!
???.
3.) 09 Jan 2026 14:08:21
Excellent Rogie. He might even find a rich “vein” of form mate. If he does, many “Fangs” to him from those with a “stake” in the club…. ??.
4.) 09 Jan 2026 17:28:47
Brilliant!
Ah! Ah! Ah!
08 Jan 2026 13:44:43
That team is OK Munmad but I would tell Sels, Melenkovic, Murillo, Aina, Williams, Anderson, Dominguez, Gibbs-White, Hudson Odoi and Jesus to " put your feet up lads, you're going nowhere near Wales in Friday.
Stay at home.
Recharge as best you can and get ready for the important stuff.
As much as I love the FA cup, it's way down the list of priorities this season sadly.
1.) 08 Jan 2026 17:03:08
That's a great shout Gazzi.
The importance is staying up this season. ??.
2.) 08 Jan 2026 17:47:24
If that storm is anything like they'll all be staying home.
3.) 08 Jan 2026 18:41:22
Looks like game will be off tomorrow imo
Travel will be impossible, trains already cancelled before the storm arrives.
06 Jan 2026 19:24:22
We'll be able to tell within 5 minutes if we're up for the fight tonight.
Fast and press. No passive sitting back.
1.) 06 Jan 2026 20:36:46
Created nothing in 30 minutes, need the wind to blow the ball into the net as the way we are going will be only way we get a goal, hopefully wrong and someone gets there shooting boots on.
2.) 06 Jan 2026 20:54:15
Not a chance Monty.
Stand more chance of Elvis Presley landing on the Loch Ness Mobster's nose than Forest scoring!
The elephant man could score more than this bunch!
20 Jan 2026 16:08:57
Keefe, not really seen much of the Italian duo but I would definitely do the deal because Ndoy and Zinchenko have failed miserably.
They can't be any worse. then again.
22 Dec 2025 17:13:12
If Anderson does leave, I don't think it will be for Newcastle.
I think his ambitions are much higher that them.
Liverpool, Man City or Real Madrid is his destination imo.
{Ed001's Note - I hope you are right with your first suggestion! Fantastic player who would improve pretty much any team in the world.}
22 Jul 2025 09:25:41
Might get player plus 35m if we're lucky.
27 Mar 2025 20:15:03
Is that the whole of Cuba Ff or part of it. It's a very big island.
22 Sep 2024 17:24:33
Funny.
20 Jan 2026 23:49:38
That's not a compliment is it Ed?
{Ed001's Note - it really depends on how you view it, but it certainly wasn't intended as one!}
15 Jan 2026 17:29:22
It seems we are split as to whether Dyche should have called out the " p! ss poor" players' performance.
I'm in the yes, he should have.
It should blooming well make them so determined to prove otherwise.
13 Jan 2026 21:29:59
Depends how you're going to spell it mate.
13 Jan 2026 20:47:31
Ru (ap) paul (ing).
10 Jan 2026 16:31:14
Well said Stokie.
