How foolish do the Nuno out brigade feel now (yes you know who you are).
Got too greedy to soon wanting exciting football didn't you?
Nuno knew the limitations of his squad and played accordingly. Look what happens when you try and play differently with players that have no first touch and need 5 minutes on the ball to make a pass!
Let's get ready for the counter arguments, Nuno wanted out and the wheels had already started falling off lol.
He expressed concerns about the squad and some of the extortionate fees on the dross coming in. If all he was interested in was a pay off then he wouldn't have walked straight into another job.
He got us to 7th place and Europe even if results did fade toward the end of the season.
A good win against Brentford followed by a creditable draw against Palace.

Very true red Fred.
Edu should of been the one sent packing!

Not in the slightest bit foolish. Glad the muppet is gone.
Nuno wanted out so it was time to say goodbye. He was on a downward spiral (results wise) and used Edu as an excuse to run off with the proceeds of a fat contract. He had Marinakis pants down and good riddance for that.
Never keep a player who wants out. Never keep a coach who does either.
