Fulham are interested in Sako according to a news report. I think we should finally get closure on this and move on. He won't be interested in us if that's the case. He is overpriced anyway. We can't compete with premier league teams nor should we.

Fulham walked away before. If they agree a price and contract terms then we can't compete. But they didn't before so could Wolves be trying to manipulate things?!

Fulham have got to a European final recently and can offer a much better salary package than we can. All I was alluding to was that we should forget about him and find someone else. It's been well documented that he was keen to come to us however with the speculation that Fulham are sniffing around again he will obviously choose guaranteed premier league football and a better salary. This will get moxley rubbing his hands together because of an impending bidding war which we will lose. We would be better off with the chesterfield lad who is born and bred in Nottingham.

Im abit sick of hearing about it myself but in jan if forest are in top 6 and fulham are in bottom 6 what is sako going to do end up back in the championship with a team that will fall apart or come to a club that's building for the future like us

This sounds like an attempt by Wolves to talk the price up. They turned down the best offer they were going to get. Now they realise Nottingham Forest are not going back with an improved offer. So they now throw the Fulham link into the mix hoping that we will jump and panic and take the very unhappy Sako of their hands at an inflated price sooner rather than later or end up with a player who won't play and is rapidly depreciating in value.

I agree with Twf79 - this sounds like damage limitation from Molineux, just trying to maximise what they can get - they realise he's not hanging around.
