Fawaz as had enough, sp will be sacked in the morning. He is looking at Tony pulis as a replacement, if not then he is prepared to pursue Ian hollaway and pay millwall compensation.

1.) 05 Nov 2014
Id rather pearce walk away then see him sacked. he just not a manager, tactics all wrong.

2.) 06 Nov 2014
SP needs an experienced coach with him. Maybe Pulis, but personally I would like Nigel Clough back. Wigley and Eastwick have no experience.

3.) 06 Nov 2014
Either but would prefer Ian Holliway look what he's done at Millwall
M

4.) 06 Nov 2014
No he hasn't. The plan is over 2 seasons. We have been the laughing stock of the Championship over the past 2 years because of the manager revolving door syndrome. Pearce was brought in to stop that and to set up the systems that support the club in the long term. I don't like the results or the style of play at the moment either but to get rid of Pearce after 4 months is utter madness. Fans need to behave like adults not spoilt brats who want it all now.

5.) 06 Nov 2014
Well said Red joy

6.) 06 Nov 2014
We all hate the results at the moment.
You can't help the facts that individual players are making mistakes that are costing us goals, but be positive We e only 8 points from the top

7.) 06 Nov 2014
It is sad to see but Pearce's managerial track record doesn't give hope he has the ability, tactics or skills to turn it around.

Had he not been a Forest legend Fawaz wouldn't have given his CV a second glance.

Yes mistakes are happening but not for every goal. Brentford could/should have been 4-0 up at half time, only one goal was a genuine error.

8.) 06 Nov 2014
Is it not an individual error from a defender for not closing his man down or giving the ball away as we did last night and against Blackburn and giving away fouls and penalties. Each player has a job to do and at the moment we are not doing it like we were in the early weeks of the season, Eric's back pass was very poor Nobody closed the man with the ball down for the first goal and Wilson was a yard too slow and gave away the penalty. we were a yard off the pace all over the pitch. I even asked after the match Who was given man of the match

9.) 06 Nov 2014
Redjoy, we all have our opinions. The football under Pearce is atrocious has been all season. Did you see the ridiculous 3 3 3 1 set up last night?

We have the International break to bring in either Chris Hughton or Brian Mcdermott to stop the rot. Pulis won't come. If Fawaz does not act now come Christmas we will be firmly in a relegation scrap.

10.) 06 Nov 2014
Three players warranted the shirt last night. Despite letting in three thought darlow had a solid game. Osborne was decent and worked hard closing the ball and finally Antonio who wads co start threat.
The rest I cannot finds the words for. Well without swearing anyway. They should have put that lad on who netted from the halfway line at half time

11.) 06 Nov 2014
Be careful of what you all wish for!
Changing managers is the last thing we need having laid solid foundations at the club behind the scenes.

This League is even more competitive this year and we have no right to be in the promotion places everyone has to knuckle down and be patient.

Unforced errors, 2 injuries and a poor decision on a disallowed goal are hardly down to the manager!

Keep the faith

Redinexile

Yes - last nights game in isolation they aren't down to him. But it's been weeks now where we've looked shaky. Poor players make mistakes.

The scary thing is Pearce's main attributes are bravery, leadership, commitment - and this just isn't being replicated on the field.

Yes we need stability - but appointing a former legend who happens to be a below average manager doesn't give you that. does it?

13.) 06 Nov 2014
Yes but this is not a one off! Poor performances have been in for some time now.

14.) 06 Nov 2014
It is still early days - the league is not won before Xmas! I recall many years ago Ipswich making an amazing charge up a league whn they looked dead and buried. SP has to be given time and some of our best players are injured. I agree Lascelles and Darlow have their thoughts elsewhere but we have cover for those positions even if we have to blood younger players and this might be the time to do so.

15.) 06 Nov 2014
We're in freefall now and I don't believe Pearce is the manager to bring us out of this slump. He doesn't seem to have the tactics or knowhow to handle the Championship. I personally feel that something isn't right in the background of this team. The players lack motivation and they are making stupid mistakes - something I never thought I'd see from a team managed by Stuart Pearce. This is a results buisness now and all managers have these slumps and 9 times out of 10 it ends with the manager getting the sack. If Forest are to lose on Saturday to Norwich then we'll be staring at the wrong end of the table and Pearce may be in Fawaz's firing line soon after. I so want for Pearce to bring us the results we desperately need to propel us back up the table but I can't see it happening. Maybe Tony Pulis or even Eddie Howe are potential managers that could fill the hot seat if the curtain falls on Pearce's reign. If we keep losing we may have to face up to fact that we need a new manager and unfortunately in this game there isn't any room for sentiment.

Yes I was at the game last night, and at Huddersfield on Saturday. It's dreadful. I'm not saying it isn't. What I am saying is that if fans demand a manager out who isn't winning all the time, after Only four months, they are setting themselves up to be another Leeds, another Cardiff. Will Russell Slade last once he loses a few? Of course not. We have looked bonkers enough over the last two seasons, let's not do it any more. Team management ( any management) is a very complicated job, if only it was as easy as passing on your skills and commitment and knowledge as a player to the team immediately. They are all different people and will learn differently and in different timescales. It's not a computer game, its real life! It takes time for things to gel, to learn from mistakes and we have to give Pearce some time. He loves Forest and it will be hurting him as much as it does us, more, because he is ultimately responsible for it and we aren't. If he goes, we will just start the whole sorry process all over again and back in the same state, if not worse than before. He's got rid of a lot of the players the fans slagged off last year and brought in some proper quality. the situation behind the scenes is being sorted. It's a long, tough task. Rome wasn't built in a day and we don't have Cloughie on that particular job anymore! And look how long, in reality, it took even him!

17.) 06 Nov 2014
Re joy

totally agree

18.) 07 Nov 2014
We will be a laughing stock if fawaz sacks sp. he will get it right I am certain. It's no coincidence that we haven't won since Reid and Cohen got injured. Yes I am a season ticket holder and no I am not happy with how we are playing. Booing the players off is a great way to increase confidence! Get behind the manager and the team like the bridgeford end did on weds. Yes it's sloppy. Yes we miss Hobbs Reid and Cohen. Sack Pearce and it's back to the drawing board. There is plenty of talent in the squad, just a lack of confidence. One win could change everything! COYR

19.) 07 Nov 2014
Agreed - sacking SP achieves nothing. Confidence will plummet, a new manager will get rid of those players he does not like and bring in yet more - totally illogical. Look at Man City, loss of confidence, Man Utd Van Gaal says he needs three years etc. Perhaps our aspirations are too high and too soon! We have the players, we have the youth, we have a good, yes good man as manager. As somebody said before 'Rome was not built in a day'. There has over the past few years bee a lot of lows and not many highs - BD would not do any better in my opinion nor would anybody else. Patience is a virtue and SP needs our support and belief in his vision - there is one believe me!

What a difference a game makes ;-). Nearly dislocated my shoulder when the second one went in. Thought Parterson earned a starting position and Osborn should stay on with Tesch in the Midfield. 4-4-2 at home it's not rocket science!!!

21.) 10 Nov 2014
TelfordRed:

Result was good yes- feels extra special winning like that late on.

Tesche and Osborn - difficult one - not sure what sort of midfielders they are - they don't create much nor are they tacklers. Both neat and tidy but neither really influences a football match. Finding the right combination in centre mid is proving a tough one!

22.) 10 Nov 2014
UD:

Yep can't argue with that but I thought they did the simple things well. Still give the ball away a bit too much but think it has potential. Let's be honest Vaughan doesn't seem to be able to stay on the pitch long enough to really gain match fitness and Henri has been a bit disapointing this season so far. Any club would miss Cohen and Reid in this league!
