Marinakis charged on two counts today. Further cases to be reviewed. No takeover for nffc surely and not wanted. New buyer must be sought and fast.

Blah, blah, blah, sorry herefortheforest but although it may be true it is getting boring now.

Until we hear for certain one way or another would you be kind enough to concentrate on our players, and our games. 1-0 uo even though it is against Port Vale.

Come on You Reds.

I am broadcasting, first what I have heard and that is the sole purpose of this site. There is no disguising fact no matter how hard you try. I do I keep saying things on the pitch are looking up, look at posts on the banter site. I love the freshness of the team and that is all us fans can help with and support. I'm sure off the pitch will come together at some point but I'm just being the first to broadcast some quite big news which I feel forest fans would need to know. I'm sorry if the news and my opinion on it cannot be merry or away with the fairies but how often can you be merry when you look at forest. On the pitch though, tomorrrownevergetshere I agree with you entirely. Let's support the team which is full of youthful promise. COYR 🌳 A few quality addition in key areas and we can be at least top 10 maybe even pushing for a top 6 place, now Imo we have a quality manager. Just wonder how shares and pedro pereira fit in now 🌳🌳🌳.

Being charged means nothing until a court of law proves him guilty. That's a real court, not the court of hftf.

Marankis is taking over forest like it or lump it doom and gloomers hand he's brought a special verse out for you to sing at the grounds . can't touch this, coyr.

Hftf, off the pitch is coming together. We have an investment in the club, shares were allotted back in May and several million has been pumped into the club. i'm sure there would have been an agreement between Fawaz and the investor as to certain achievements that needed to be met as part of the terms and conditions of the investment. Now if that's a consortium that involves marinakis then so what if he has been charged. The deal is done we have investment and it's investment not a takeover. We're seeing the positive effects of this already. A DoF, a decent manager, new players. Focus on the pitch and the upcoming season!

Sorry, my mistake it is investment yes. As I do keep saying I am focusing in the pitch because off it is to shambolic and frustrating to even bother with, I have this ship has a captain. As for the Herefortheforest court, if he's found guilty then I'm not sure. Says in the daily mirror that he will destroy English football, the man has a reputation for goodness sake. Pump money in fair enough, but whys he doing it? The FL should but can't be able to make him keep his distance from an active role. Read the article it explains better than me 👊🏻. Yes, on the pitch cracking goal from Britt good win, fresh positive youth and a good manager. COYR 🌳🌳.

Wasn't he charged months ago? He's still awaiting trial.

The only reason these stories are resurfacing and looking fresh is because the mainstream media has finally picked up on it. They're just regurgitating what we already knew weeks ago.

Herefortheforest

I did not say you post nothing else, just that you post too much about that one subject.

I appreciate this is a site for information, and banter but 99.5% of what the media announces is just a rehash of the previous story about him.

As i said i'm not saying it is not true, just let us see what the outcome is. No matter how juicey the story, or how tasty your favourite food is, served up every hour it becomes bland and boring.

You yourself stated he has been charged, and other charges are to follow so it is going to be months rather than weeks it will be draged out, so please no more until something that is really different to report.

It's all hot air and a distraction. The shares have been transferred and money is being invested in the team.

Whatever happens in the Greek Courts makes no difference provided Marinakis remains a shareholder only and does not become a director or official at the club.

So let's focus on the football please?

"He will destroy English football" LOL

How? The only reason he has been able to control Greek football is because the Greek FA (or large parts of it) have been compliant in the corruption. The WHOLE of Greek football is a mess, with Marinakis involved in SOME of it. Marinakis is not responsible for the whole mess! Although he is said to be a key figure, he's not done it all on his own!

Honestly, for someone with so much to say on the matter I'd have at least thought you'd have read up on it properly.

Can I just add that being charged in Europe does not mean the same as here in the UK. Charged is our equivalent of arrest / interview under caution. We shall see in a while whether or not it has legs. Plus if he is parrot a consortium he could easily take a back seat if anything comes of this.

The difference between English football and Greek football is vast and on completely different levels so let's say these rumours of corruption are true. can you really see the same things working in the English leagues? I for one can't, maybe I'm being naive but I'm enjoying the optimism and buzz of excitement that I've not felt for many years going into the start of a season (apart from the short lived psycho era) COYR.

I have read up in the daily mail. The destroy football is actually a quote. I'm only relaying information and when I see any more news on the matter I will keep it to myself so I alone can watch the shambles off the pitch unravel further. I have bored myself with the repeatedly having to tell people what is going on in the hope they believe the truth. I know for a fact people love forest, I do more than the next man and I only have to say this publication becasue I do not want to secret shambles to be unnoticed at our cherrished club. Investment is so essential now however, I do believe even marinakis would be a benefit to the club. I agree with 1 points with the replies above. This will take time. The Greek FA is not corrupt itself it just has a ring of corrupt football clubs and owners which the FA is not developed enough to notice due to a huge decline in Greek football. See 2015 Greek football scandal (I believe) . 🌳.
