Welcome costa hope you come here and prove a lot of people wrong like Lamouchi and sow and others good luck.

1.) 29 Jan 2020 21:21:00
Well said Skegsjay. There seems to be a lot of needless negativity and almost panic on here over the past couple of days.

2.) 29 Jan 2020 23:47:43

3.) 30 Jan 2020 10:17:06
In SL I trust will turn out to be two good signings.

Tyler back in the fold hopefully just need Freeman and job done imo.

29 Jan 2020 09:15:48
Wolves agreed a fee for podence signs today carvahlo to olympiakos hopefully invest some of that money back.

1.) 29 Jan 2020 09:25:04
A lot has to be done for all that to happen, unless things have been agreed in principle a while back then once one happens the rest falls into place.

2.) 29 Jan 2020 11:59:09
Carvahlo in talks with olmpiakos.

3.) 29 Jan 2020 12:44:30
JC would be sold in a matter of hours as he owns both clubs if prudence goes I bet JC would be announced hours after.

4.) 29 Jan 2020 13:05:14
Well done for being right, i wonder who will be coming in before the window shuts, unless it is being saved for the summer.

5.) 29 Jan 2020 14:27:41
Just costa coming in.

6.) 29 Jan 2020 15:57:50
Carvalho will stay.

7.) 29 Jan 2020 16:49:39
If Skegsjay is right and Carvalho is in talks with our parent club then he will go.

27 Jan 2020 10:28:04
Wells been recalled hope that's because of us.

1.) 27 Jan 2020 11:15:04
I hope so too, Alan Nixon has said there is big. Russian interest in Vydra and Burnley would not sell both, Russian transfer window closes in February. Football often throws up surprises so fingers crossed we get Wells.

2.) 27 Jan 2020 12:36:36
We won't get wells.
He's recalled because of interest in Vydra.
Forest won't spend the Claimed Β£4 million on wells so expect Murray or an unknown from France.

3.) 27 Jan 2020 12:46:47
Hes coming here mate πŸ˜†.

4.) 27 Jan 2020 13:20:27
Just been tols this. I work for a Bristol Company apparently they have been in advanced talks over the weekend with Burnley hence the recall of Wells.

5.) 27 Jan 2020 13:40:35
Hope I’m wrong but can’t see us getting Wells, maybe a foreign lad for 1.5/ 2.0m and bring Walker back.

6.) 27 Jan 2020 13:53:59
Costa the Cape Verde striker alleged to be confirmed in the next few hours?

7.) 27 Jan 2020 17:42:46
Although Da Costa is playing down the speculation. Make of it what you will.

28 Aug 2019 09:37:36
Everything seems great throughout the squad for a change everyone seems to be playing great as well so sl must have a headache a good headache on who to play against Preston will be another toughie but we must be high in confidence after the last couple of games be nice to get a good unbeaten run together 😁.

1.) 29 Aug 2019 07:29:41
Watson out, Bostock in, surely.

2.) 29 Aug 2019 11:03:20
Over 90% pass completion, younger, hungrier, more composed and agile than Watson. Get him in.

3.) 29 Aug 2019 20:02:15
Watson along with Dawson and Worrall have been outstanding!
Last week at Fulham they limited Fulham to two attempts on goal despite 78% possession.

4.) 29 Aug 2019 21:35:19
I'm not saying watson has been poor, I also think he's done a solid job, but bostock looks a class above.

5.) 29 Aug 2019 21:35:59
Also, I never mentioned Dawson or Worrall who have formed such a solid pairing.

6.) 29 Aug 2019 22:58:56
I know you didn’t mention Dawson and Worrall. But the three are a unit. and Watson orchestrates play. He is the brains of the team.
But, I agree at 35 he can’t play every game.

7.) 01 Sep 2019 15:23:12
The problem with Watson he does the covering role in that midfield. His positioning and breaking up play is vital. It always a role that's totally unappreciated by most fans because he isn't running with the ball, making defence breaking passes and scoring goals. Other players may have more flair but do they have the defensive nous that Watson has. That's the key to his position and the excellent defensive record at the moment and I wish more fans would appreciate that istead of putting him down.

16 Jul 2019 23:22:10
Did we get silva for free reminds me of silenza 😜 the Portuguese lads look too light weight for me lolley stand out player again lose him were in trouble.

1.) 17 Jul 2019 10:17:30
We got everybody for nowt skegs that's why there crap. God knows what the new manager at Christmas is going to make of this lot.
Bet O'Neill is laughing is head off.

2.) 17 Jul 2019 11:00:21
Thats what i like lads give the players a fair chance. They've only had 2/ 3 training seasons and a couple of game. Why do everyone on here thinks its so easy to be a manager and to find a formula that will win everygame we play. I bet most people on here who moan plays Football Manager then thinks its so easy. Why don't they get off their butts and apply for the job when by all accounts according to them the posistion will be open again in the very near future. I love NF and been a supporter for decades and it hurts me to see what's happening to them at the mo but what we need is stability not constant changes. COYR.

3.) 17 Jul 2019 11:03:11
Keane was a very smart man.

4.) 17 Jul 2019 11:15:43
Bez they talk about being 3 weeks in front in training and pre season. Total nonsense. These guys have been playing football for 20 years. So they have 2 month off and need to be retrained?
O'Neill certainly got stability.
We've got rid of a manager who won everything and swapped him for a manager who's won nowt and signed a load of failed freebies.
Gonna be a long season my friend.

5.) 17 Jul 2019 11:28:24
Bezman you won't get stability if the owners keep buying 8 players every transfer window, the word buying I'll use loosely.
They then expect the coach to get promoted with these players and when it doesn't happen the sack the coach at xmas.
It's the owners who have got it wrong on the playing side not us fans.

6.) 17 Jul 2019 11:43:15
Everyone has an opinion of this which i uderstand and appreciate but at the end of the day football is a business now and not a sport and the man who puts money (alot of money at that) into the club has the right to say what's what. If he's not happy he has the right to change what he thinks is right and i know its a bit different in greece to here but i personally think he has the best interest for NF at heart. I know its difficult for us loyal supporters to see this but i truely think the good times is just around the corner.

7.) 17 Jul 2019 12:14:58
Bezman stop being so level headed. It’s not allowed on here πŸ˜‚.

8.) 17 Jul 2019 12:17:16
Whinging and whining and the season hasn't even started, it's a friendly, If weaknesses in certain players are spotted now, better than in the league imo, everyone is getting a chance.

God help us all when it does start, everybody duck when the rattles and dummies get thrown out:)

9.) 17 Jul 2019 12:47:23
Lol pot kettle comes to mind as I said earlier get your best 11 together and start playing them now every season and manager as done the same thing for years swap change players formations and when they think they've found there best 11 by Xmas there sacked because they can't get consistency and the merry go round starts again I don't understand what fans think there going to get with a bunch of freebies nobody else wanted and to top it off lolley will be gone very soon lucky if we make mid table this season.

10.) 17 Jul 2019 12:54:43
Sorry Redtree πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

11.) 17 Jul 2019 13:13:39
Quite interesting how you describe any forest fan that doesn't agree with your idea of a fan as a moaner or whinger.
Think you might get a shock when the season does get underway, the squad needed strengthening with a bit of quality only adomah offers that the rest are no better than we had, personally think we'll struggle and that's not moaning my friend it's just the way I see it.

12.) 17 Jul 2019 13:43:15
Hey all i'm saying is everybody should have an opinion and eveybody has the right to think what they want because i moan about NF all the time because they are so frustrating. Every NF supporter has their own ideas on how they should play but at the end of the day we are not the manager and rightly or wrongly we should at some level support the manager and hope he gets it right. On to the players that have come in we have to trust the manager again unfortunatly but look in the past when we were getting some questionable players like Kenny Burns and a few others and i would say people were thinking the same about Brian and Peter.

13.) 17 Jul 2019 13:45:48
I actually agree with you Skegs. I am hoping that’s the last we see of some players e. g. Watson, Osborn and Cash at rightback. And that match was simply to get one last look at them. We do need to be cementing our first 11 down now. As for what 79’s saying I personally love to hear negative perspectives of you grumpy whingers. Gives me a chance to bring you some positivity and wind you lot up πŸ˜‚.

14.) 17 Jul 2019 14:06:09
Good man redtree😁😁😁😁.

15.) 17 Jul 2019 14:07:03
Not any Forest fan just you two and there is no description just a statement, quite interesting how you just made that up:) .

Don't be putting words into peoples mouths now, just my fish hooks in yours, lol.

Cheer up, you may even like it!

16.) 17 Jul 2019 14:09:41
Cement our best 11.two are already missing by way of Cavalho and Yates!

17.) 17 Jul 2019 15:53:04
In reply to initial post:
- Tiago Silva reported between 1 and 2 million
- Ribeiro was a free but with 50% sell-on clause
- The rest were for free or on loan deals

Anyone know how much we got for Ansarifard, Soudani, Vellios, Grant?

18.) 17 Jul 2019 16:09:54
Lol gingerkid you read what you put and your calling everyone a whinger that posted a bad comment about last night's game.
Cant put words into your mouth as we aren't communicating by mouth
Keep happy clapping chap πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘.

19.) 17 Jul 2019 16:13:19
I am expecting 3-4 signings.

20.) 17 Jul 2019 16:46:55
Hope a couple of proven strikers. Right back and?

21.) 17 Jul 2019 18:28:51
We need centre midfielders I would go back in for Pele. Its looking like Yacob and Gueds are going and I am hoping Watson follows them.

22.) 17 Jul 2019 19:20:17
FF. Well put. it's not his fault he's folicley colour challenged.

23.) 17 Jul 2019 19:54:45
Nope still just you 2 :)

It is pretty funny you two can give it all day long to others, but can't take it yourselves, pmsl, sorry bout that princess.

(FWB, it's not your fault you can't spell follicle, 2 L's, but don't worry, I won't tell anyone, shhh) .

24.) 17 Jul 2019 21:27:40
Give what out exactly gingerkid?
And can't take what?
Let's all live in your world and just pretend everything is rosy and top six a formalityπŸ€”πŸ€”.

25.) 17 Jul 2019 22:43:05
I agree it’s not easy which is why I can’t grasp how the last two chaps weren’t given some time - given the fact it’s a very tough job and will take time.

26.) 18 Jul 2019 06:35:51
Ginger it's not your fault your a giver not a taker. You will be OK.
Most on here take the banter on the chin but others. Hmmm they to heart. And regarding I stand corrected. Thanks! 🐱.

27.) 18 Jul 2019 09:31:29
Ginger, I find, is the most diplomatic and tactful of gentlemen. Always supported me when I felt that managers were not using subs wisely. We benefit greatly from his input.

Just a quick comment hope everyone is well and safe Mrs as me doing loads of jobs at the minute πŸ˜” but hopefully soon I can get back on here a bit more I'm sure we will be talking and bantering very soon with the season about to kick off again wether it be a good thing or a bad thing chins up lads and keep safe πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ˜.

1.) 04 Jun 2020 12:05:26
Good to hear that Skegs, you and yours keep going mate . Sometimes it's like pushing a stone uphill, wish you all the best. Also to all of you keep safe.

2.) 04 Jun 2020 15:08:58
Hi skeggy, good to hear you’re keeping busy mate 🀣 Hope you and the family are keeping well- get all them jobs out of the way so when the pubs and clubs open up you will have plenty of time to make the most of them 🍻.

3.) 04 Jun 2020 15:18:41
Credit to all on here for looking out for each other. that's what makes us such a unique Forest Family.
Stay Alert, Wake up, Save lives, Support Forest!

4.) 05 Jun 2020 20:47:02
Lol cheers lads really missing all the banter anyone wondering if we will be giving lamouchi a new contract I would say he's earnt it πŸ‘πŸ˜.

5.) 05 Jun 2020 21:51:31
Me as well skeggs, with three months nearly gine i can't get excited by finishing the season though.
Miss my brother and family and going for a pint with the regular lads at every home gane.
For me football has always been the day out, win, lose or draw it was being with family and freinds having a drink laugh and a joke, that can't happen behind closed doors and for that reason i can't get excited about football until the day i can sit in my seat at the ground.
Its strange times we live in but i can't watch forest the same way as i'm used to.
I hate queuing for anything so I'd rather go without and just carry on driving past if i see a anything like a big queue.
Hate click and collect or any other sort of buying on line.
Go back to work monday after ten weeks but if no materials will give up trying till the country gets sorted.
Β£30 for a bag of plaster that normally costs Β£7 tops is taking the piss and these people should be locked up for ripping people off.
Id rather football started again when we can all go again not just for tv.

6.) 05 Jun 2020 22:51:03
Lamouchi has been on a-learning curve and for me is a good manager, now with three-quarters of the season gone has got what it takes. Well done young man you get my vote.

7.) 05 Jun 2020 23:47:33
79 really 30 quid for a bag of plaster I use to be yard manager at Travis perkins I know what it costs as it got speckles of 22 carat gold in that's a joke mate what would it cost now to build home from scratch if every material went up quadruple 240 thousand lol.

16 May 2020 20:15:41
Out on front with neighbours social distancing neighbour does karaoke at clubs and as decided to put it on in front garden so a few Stella's with all the neighbours not sharing them though lol hope everyone OK πŸ»πŸ»πŸ‘.

1.) 16 May 2020 20:59:59
Good on yer Skeg. Nice to hear something pleasant fora change ,glad your OK ,did you give em a song?
Hope every one ,s well ,or right for Skeg he can go down the beach β˜”οΈβ˜”οΈπŸš£πŸš£πŸŠπŸ»πŸŠπŸ»β›±

2.) 16 May 2020 21:49:06
Hi Skeg did you give em a rendition of loving feeling 😊.

3.) 17 May 2020 00:11:29
Was that you I could hear singing Mull Of Kintyre?

4.) 17 May 2020 09:12:24
Lol I didn't sing didn't want it to rain and it would of meant putting my Stella down and carlo believe it or not I don't bother with the beach must be years since I went up sea front I should do really only 5 minute walk but to bloody cold but had fish and chips the other day they were as good as ever πŸ˜‹πŸ‘.

5.) 17 May 2020 15:00:06
You could have sung "it might as well rain until September", a duet with the wife.

6.) 17 May 2020 16:31:40
It’s funny how some of us inland drive to the coast just go see the sea. It’s no surprise to hear how the novelty wears off. It’s a bit like going to forest every other week Skegg. I know you wish it was accessible to you regularly but just me mate, you’re not missing anything.

7.) 22 May 2020 23:32:14
I tend to drive to cornwall or devon as if the suns out in skeggy i can't see for the reflection from the shell suits they wear.
Is there anywahere else in the country you can still buy one?

12 May 2020 16:14:25
How's everyone doing hope everyone is well missing the football and banter think I'm doing the Mrs head in now mind you it's the first time in 10 years she's been lost for words and not a lot to talk about great when watching a movie lol anybody think the season will restart again myself I think it will end up being null and void also I can't see how you can make it fair by promoting the 2 top teams of the championship and not have anyone relegated from the Premier ship I can see a lot of law suits being put in from clubs with some of the ideas there coming up with.

1.) 12 May 2020 16:37:37
We're doing not too bad here in NI. miss heading up the North Coast!
It will make it all the more beautiful when we return to some sort of normal. hope yourself and everyone else on here are in good health. as Vera Lynn said "Not that bloody song again! "

2.) 12 May 2020 22:19:10
Pleased you’re bearing up Skegg, the reality is that this ain’t ending soon . I’m in the null and void camp too mate.

3.) 12 May 2020 22:48:03
Skeggs I've moved house 10 days ago.
Been busy and enjoying sorting out the garden as its a huge plot.

Scrubed the bungalow but can't get a plasterboard or plaster for love or money.
Saved me me as i can't sit down and do nothing, had to fight the solicitor's to get it done as they try to tell you you it can't be done because of government policies.
Well i can face more chance of catching it by going to a supermarket than i could moving into an empty house.

Im getting confused now as i haven't been allowed to pick my granddaughter up for seven weeks and i can't go to their house and stand two metres away on their drive but i can talk to the neighbours and any other stranger i meet on a walk?
Is it me or is that mixed messages?

4.) 12 May 2020 22:51:16
Im the null and void as well 2 star it ain't practical and can't work.
Id also like a refund for next season but then you need to get a response from the club?

5.) 12 May 2020 23:26:39
Seen to many news programmes, doing my head in. Hope they bring a regulation out, no male over 70 to weed the garden .

6.) 13 May 2020 10:35:20
Weed shouldn't be in the garden, 1951, it should be grown in the loft.

I'm on the null and void side. I agree with Ff79 in terms of the practicality of how it could work and I can't see us getting a refund any time soon.

7.) 13 May 2020 16:37:01
How are all the gang? Haven’t been on for awhile, hope all is well with everyone. Null and void for me too, only fair I think, no promotion no relegation and give it another go the next time, when ever that will be? Stay safe and best wishes from a sunny Cork City, Ireland.

8.) 13 May 2020 19:06:00
Welcome back!

9.) 14 May 2020 10:28:55
Same here lads. Null and void is the fairest way forward for everyone.

10.) 14 May 2020 13:56:26
Its not so much that the season can't be completed behind closed doors or the next one started in the same vane. For me its a spectator game and if we got promoted in a play off behind closed doors missing out on a trip to Wembley and then had half next season in premier league behind closed doors it would be a massive let down.

Rather null and void this season and start again whenever possible.

11.) 14 May 2020 16:58:27
Hey up 79 lakes back open now you doing a bit of fishing I thought about it but I would imagine every bloke that's been stuck home with the Mrs is going so I would imagine it's packed lol good to hear off everyone 😁🍻🍻.

12.) 14 May 2020 21:41:01
Id love to go fishing skeggs and it should have been allowed as should golf.
But hey ho it wasn't.
Got too much to do now mate and even managed to get a delivery of plasterboard today.
Lost a stone in weight i put on sitting in my old garden drinking and sunbathing.
I'm really a river fisherman so the season don't start till 16th of june.
Stay safe and when this is over I'll poo over and meet up with you.

13.) 14 May 2020 22:50:15
Keep those lines tight 79.

14.) 15 May 2020 11:37:45
Marcus Maddison anyone?
Free Agent. I'd snap him up!

15.) 15 May 2020 21:25:14
I've always liked maddiison rogie I would take him.

16.) 15 May 2020 21:26:11
We're all free agents rogie mate and there will be many in football
that will have to lower their expectations of earnings.
It will be interesting if players like aguero won't play?
On big bucks do you try make them play or refuse to pay them for not playing?
Football will change that's for sure just as life will never be the same for us in the forseable future.
You take care mate and give the missus a big hug from me for doing her part.

07 May 2020 09:00:36
Anybody watching the 1996 World Cup again starting Monday and do you think we will win it πŸ€”πŸ˜‰ am quite looking forward to it don't know what's going to happen with the championship finishing the season I'm 50 50 at minute wether I want it null and void or to finish but cause I can't get to games it's probably no different to me as it would be to fans that go to the games week in week out I mean if we finished the season and got to play off final it would be a lot different for fans that go they would be at Wembley big day out for the season ticket holders probably wouldn't be the same as watching it on TV hope everyone and there families are OK.

1.) 07 May 2020 13:04:16
Thanks for all your comments guys. good to see all the "Usual Suspects" back on here!

2.) 07 May 2020 20:50:34
I take it you are not working Skegsy. Are you doing ok pal?

3.) 07 May 2020 22:09:34
No work redsgetty gone from 3 jobs a week to zero but touch wood me and my family have our health I've managed to go out and help a few people that needed things doing so that was good obviously at social distancing I suppose I'm like a lot now don't know what's going to happen come the future but I always believe there's a lot of people worse off than me I hope you and your family are well as to everyone else on here.

4.) 08 May 2020 07:18:06
Wish you all the best Skeggs, these are unprecedented times. Things will improve soon, keep safe mate .

5.) 08 May 2020 09:32:02
Yes Skeggsy, hope things improve big time for you mate. and all the Forest Faithful on here. 😊😊😊.

6.) 09 May 2020 11:03:32
Good for you Skegsjay! You can't keep a good man down. πŸ’ͺ.

7.) 10 May 2020 17:05:58
Just been watching 1958/ 59 cup final in the first half we played some good football. Then it's all hands to the pumps to keep Luton out . Still enjoyable, well we won.

31 Mar 2020 23:38:09
Hope everyone today got through OK don't know about anyone else but I suffer bad with anxiety might not show it but suffered with it since as long as I can remember and at the minute with everything that's gone on its really hard I'm guessing there's a lot of blokes and lads out there feeling the same worrying about family work money as we after look after all these as we are the men of the house keep your chins up for your family and yourself and don't forget to talk don't keep it bottled up.

1.) 01 Apr 2020 04:14:51
Your not alone their bud and we're all here to listen. This site is a great way to take your mind off things in these difficult times, things will soon pick up and we will rise up to the promise land that is the premier league. Keep the faith.

2.) 01 Apr 2020 10:56:06

3.) 01 Apr 2020 12:55:24
Well said guys.

4.) 01 Apr 2020 15:40:15
Thinking of you Skegsjay.

5.) 01 Apr 2020 15:44:05
I can relate to that skegs because i too suffer with bouts of anxiety and the occasional panic attacks. it certainly doesn't help with the situation at the moment. this is where social media can be a good thing as it means we are never alone and there's always someone to talk to. can't wait till we come out of all this and the football starts again so we can get back to the good old banter. keep well boys.

6.) 01 Apr 2020 16:28:41
A lot of great lads on this site smithy but don't tell them I said that and as I said won't be the only bloke out there suffering with anxiety I'm just putting it out there like yourself to just talk and not bottle things up like you say social media is good you don't feel alone this site as always probably like many on here a bit of escape from reality OK you end up talking to a lot of looney toons on here like 79 rogie 2star etc etc I could go on and they will probably send you dafter than you already are only joking lads but after many years of banter on here with them they feel like good friends even when we disagree carvahlo lol but yes smithy can't wait for the football and banter to start again it will also mean we're getting closer to the end of the virus and will also give us all something else to think about.

7.) 01 Apr 2020 17:23:23
I hope we get some more Portuguese players carvalho is great young playerand a snip at 13 million 🍻🍻🍻.

I often struggle with depression due to a long term health issue. Many times you lads on here have kept me going through dark days. I often try to be humorous on here for that same reason. This site was my first foray into social media and I reckon I'm Getty the hang of it at last. Keep it up all of you. πŸ’ͺ.

I feel for all you guys that struggle with anxiety and your right keep talking.
Ive got my wooden spoon ready just to give it a stir now and then😁😁
Keep safe everyone and stay in then covide 19 has nowhere to go.

You won't believe this, I was out walking my dog the other day, and was heading up a hill, and at the top of it there's a Cemetery, I watched this guy, who lived EIGHT doors away get into his car and DRIVE up to the gates?
Seriously he did?
So he gets out and there's a notice on the gates "Due to Coronavirus this Cemetery is closed".
So he shouts over to me "Why close a bloody Cemetery? "
I shouted back "Maybe they're not letting anybody out mate? "

2tone some people don't understand why locals get wind up 2 doctors surgeries your lucky to get into a small accident and emergency are nearest hospital over 20 miles away 3 average supermarkets us locals still queuing up to get into the extra pressure on these is not good I miss the holiday makers they keep us in work and bring joy to the town and I will be glad when there back but as for most English holiday resorts at the minute we're not geared up and ready for them or the risk of the spread of the virus if you look at Greece and Spain resorts they have measures in place I wouldn't tell anyone what to do or not to do i think most people are sensible and can make there own decisions I just want everyone to stay safe holiday makers and locals will be glad when we open back up again and I can grab a beer with some of you that comes to skegs stay safe everyone.
