Abdoun is a nightmare last thing we need is another player like him, his positional awareness when he's off the ball is terrible might as well be playing with 10 men only works when he's on the ball not a team player granted he has some talent when on the ball, still have mackie and Patterson any day of the week if this new lads as arrogant as abdoun it'll be a disaster we not sure on this lad, blatantly a signing from fawaz not billy, still COYR.

You need to watch Abdoun more closely his all round game is getting better and he wins tackles in and around our area as well as being a threat going forward.
Exciting run in now we have a quality Number 9 to get on the end of our midfield play!

These type of players are worth the calculated risk. We have enough grafters and workers and what we need is raw talent who scores goals. You don't get a goal scorer and a solid worker in the same player I'm afraid and our team has room for this. Billy will not tolerate lazyness anyway so he will play for the team. It's exciting times and I think he will smash goals in!.

Re Clueless comment above if djebbour brings goals and a massive attacking threat (which he does) then that's all that matters it's about scoring more than the other team I like many watched abdoun and djebbour rip arsenal apart a couple of years back. I'd rather have two players that can rip apart a defense and score goals than two attacking mids that are defensive minded. There's just no pleasing some fans

Sorry but ya comment about abdoun is rubbish he tries every game he was the first one to score a penalty. He's got skill and still gaining confidence. The signing of djebbour may help him out

Agreed. These two can add the difference to what we need. I'm glad we have gone for a player like him and not a boring English CF as djebbour will bring excitement and class to the team. He will also want to play in the prem so will get us there with his goals. Abdoun proved his class against west ham and got all the neutrals talking about forest. That's what we need.

The most exciting thing for me is no one in the league will know how he plays/moves. I think he's the kind of player we need in this second half. I hope he delivers as good as his wpedia page says.

I love it how most fans have already got an opinion on a player they've never seen play. He's either an awesome talent that will score a hatful or a complete waste of money. No middle ground here. Well done, Forest fans.

I'll reserve judgement until I've seen him in a Forest shirt. But paying £1.5m for a 29-year old at this level you expect him to be able to contribute. Let's hope he can.

Have a Greek mate at work who's a mad Olympiakos fan and we were talking about Abdoun and Djebbour a couple of months back, he reckoned he was destined for a premier league club or european champions league team so think we might have some player on our hands. if £1.2m is true sounds like a steal

I'm lead to believe Djebbour is a target that the manager is pursuing and he does want to bring him to the club.

But no medical has been completed yet and there are a few contract issues to sort out.

We hope to have some good news on that in the coming days but, be rest assured, nothing is sealed yet.

What has gone wrong with Jack Hobbs deal as Fawaz said on tv all sorted and our player?
I am very confused and bewildered by what is happening at Forest and need to understand along with ALL Forest fans what the hell is happening as we are told one thing and then out of the blue the opposite happens.
I think Fawaz needs too and has too come out and tell us.
