I thought announcements by players usually occur in the club shop.

Sighting confirmed by Stan Collymore who was watching from the bushes, apparently looking for his dog.

I can confirm that Vaughan was in Mount Street NCP just after 8. 30am. Saw him with my own eyes. Funny time and place for a Sunderland player to be seen when his loan with us has expired! If nothing else it surely confirms that talks about him signing are ongoing if not yet complete? Give Fawaz time to weave his magic, he's bringing in Premiership quality players whilst trying to keep the dressing room unified in terms of wage parity. Not an easy task by any stretch but in my opinion he's doing a cracking job.

I totally agree with the comment above. Fawaz is the best thing to happen to this club in a very long time. He knows money needs to be spent & is willing to spend it but is not a prepared to write a big blank cheque like at Man City & Chelsea because he is a buisness man & won't let other clubs pull his pants down e.g Wolves-Sako & Boro-Leadbiitter. Fawaz & Billy want quality players which will get us promoted which is a tricky job as a Championship side because you need quality players that are Premier League standard but can't offer Premiership football or silly wages yet (until you hit the Premier League Jackpot & even then caution needs to be applied eg Pompey) hence why some deals just don't happen.
As seen with Nigel Doughty, some fans are very greedy with another mans money & will find something to moan about unless we a Premier League Champions & then probably still will! Just hope Fawaz realises this & that the other 99% of fans are fully behind him & realise we'd be rotting in League 1 going bankrupt without him. Fawaz is our leader, Fawaz us our leader la la la la. la la la!
