The club need a new Nigel Doughty to buy the club and get the proper people running it. I cannot see the club moving foward under Fawaz.

All it needs is proper people running the club. Other teams have done it on a smaller budget than Forest's.

Every club wants proper people running the club but finding them is hard.doughty was a true fan like fawaz but he couldn't put the money in to get the better players without selling our best players on.fawaz can but has done it the wrong way.
If fawaz came in got rid of the big earners or our best players to balance the books fans would of moaned like hell.yet he is being slagged off now for spending on olayers that we needed and everyone was happy with until we had the embargo out in place then they started moaning again.how can you win?

Saw a great article on another forum about the financial damage done by Nigel Doughty and what Fawaz did to recover the clubs financial position.

The club was in over £80m in interest accruing debt to ND which is what Fawaz paid off to purchase the club. The club's debt to Fawaz, approx. £35m and is interest free.

Simple maths, Fawaz, whilst no great manager, is doing good things for the club.

The club just needs a great CEO to allow Fawaz to sit back a bit more. The club needs Fawaz to stay. The club doesn't need the Fawaz Out Brigade

Fawaz has been on Twitter again wanting to know why so called fans are giving him stick once again . I agree the painting of Brian Clough and Fawaz was a bit of a daft thing to do but I genuinely think he doesn't realise things like this tick people off. I know McGovern is on the payroll but he should be advising Fawaz. Also people should lay off him on Twitter because sooner or later he'll clear off then we'll be flumped.

What forum was it on regarding the financial damage caused by Doughty?

leave the owner alone.

Talk about biting the hand that feeds.

We'd be doomed without him, this will transpire as he will be driven out by the minority constantly picking at him.

The writing is on the wall, I'd be long gone if I were him already.

The owner has backed signings that should easily have been good enough to get us out the league, shame on him for not making them play better from his seat in the stand and his interactive joy pad.

What more can he do ? What more do we expect him to do?

Totally agree 2star, it's amazing how ungrateful some fans are. It is annoying when there is so much negativity towards the club, every fan of every club wants success, but it is extremely hard to come by. There is no magic formula, but being positive is half of the battle. I just hope that we can compete and do ourselves justice. I can remember this time last year and all the anticipation with Stuart Pearce, who would of expected how that turned out?
