2 games ago most of you were saying Hughton was making progress with the team. I have to disagree on the basis that apart from Cash he had a squad -improved by the signing of McKenna, Soh and Taylor - who finished 7th last season by a point.

I do think some of us are overreacting in the sense that half the team last night were coming back from injury or hadn't played much football. But I think the footy is so tedious to watch that I don't mind if we change the boss anyway (and I think swapping constantly is stupid) . Basically I watch footy to be entertained and that matters more to me than it used to. Forest are and have been a complete bore!

I'd love to have a boss who wants to play "tippy tappy" and develop youth WITH A PLAN. And yes that comment is sideways swipe at those of you who tore into Warburton for wanting to develop players who actually play entertaining football!

There is even a part of me that is worried that if this boring footy gets us out of trouble then the boss stays and we are subjected to another season of this boring tripe! Perhaps a call from the owner demanding we play a different system might be in order. That would horrify a lot of us but attendances are set to drop dramatically next season if this continues.

Ff79 to be fair I don’t think we were lucky at stoke, I thought we were unlucky actually, i thought we matched Watford, do you think we were lucky against Sheffield wed? I thought we were comfortable, Preston we deserved in my option, Millwall away we weren’t lucky, I think you are being s little unfair with that statement,

No mate the stats of the odd shot or even just one on target don't lie stevie.
Preston had lots of injuries and created a lot of chances and but for samba and the woodwork we would have been beaten.
Most of the games bar millwall was one or two shots and that was it.
Boro beat us comfortably but by only one goal as we managed to create one in the end.
Will always lose or draw too many games when relying on one goal.
He has to get wins from Barnsley rotherham Coventry and wycombe or he's toast won't get much or anything from the other games till end of feb.

Sadly RedCyclist Warburton though he want to bring young players into the team and play good football his good intentions came to nothing.

I think you can three things for that, he did not organise the defence, he had the team playing at a pedestrian pace, and the club gave him not much to spend.

Results pan out for every club in the end so luck evens out . However what makes 11 players 12 or 13 is team play . All signed up to the same goal ( intended pun ) . We see this time and time again. Keep the nucleus of your side intact . The Forest team is minus 3 ; Watson, Cash, Silva . So most of that successful team went into the next season as they did at Swansea . Yet we are sinking slowly with the new signings having no impact . Lolley, Grabban, Riberio, Figs are shadows of last season . To be fair Sow, Yates, Samba, Ameobi are playing equally as last season . The camp is not happy for some reason so no team spirit. exists . CH is not a Ferguson or a cane wielding headmaster he is a diplomat and surely jaw jaw is better than war war . If it is true that the top director is influencing the team selection transfer targets, then CH will leave . The players he brings as Kockheart are his choices. If wrong he will leave or sacked . Barnsley who have become a bogey team next up and it’s a must win game - for the managers career is at sake.

Different players need handling in different ways.

Some need their confidence building, some need to a tongue wagging, some need patience to drill it into them what the manager wants and others just need to be shown a couple of times before they pick it up.

If Lolley, Grabs. Figs and Rebeiro are shadows of former selves then the buck rests with the coach. no question. I forgot about Silva. We are desperate for a decent passer with guile and attacking intent.

Watson was a decent pro but was on the wane long term so if we couldn't get better out of Artur and Colback then - again - how can we lame anyone but the coach.

Time for a change in either how we play or who decides how.
