Saw him play a few times last year and I would give this one a miss. We have a better similar player in Paterson, Clucus is not good enough for forest.

Couldn't even get in stags team for final 3 months. Yes he's young but he's nowhere near good enough for this level

Asked about him at the mansfield friendly on Saturday and the mansfield fans I spoke to said he's weak, slow and selfish and had a few good games but goes missing there's a defender there though tafidzell or summet who looked ok and only about 20 they've rejected a offer of 10k for him think he'd be worth a gamble at around 50-100k

I watched him play a couple of times last year as my wife works in Mansfield for a large employer and they get some free tickets sometimes, I really can't see the attraction with this guy, he's OK at the lower levels I suppose but I really can't see him stepping up to Championship and then hopefully premier league football. imo I would give this a miss and go for someone more proven at this level.

I think we're being a bit harsh on Clucas here. He sticks out like a sore thumb in that Mansfield side and will make a decent Championship footballer one day, for sure. I think Forest should be aiming a bit higher personally but wouldn't mind seeing him come in as a squad player. He would be a lot cheaper than other alternatives as well.

Tafazolli didn't make the grade at Southampton and I think lower-league football will be his level.

Clucas was released by both leicester and Lincoln so not sure if he's any good, if he can't make the grade with them then do we really want him?

I'm basing my opinion on seeing them both play 4 or 5 times for Stags last season, not on who they were released from. Apologies if I didn't make that clear.
