It is thought that Montanier is after Alain Traore from FC Lorient, after playing against him in the league many times in the last couple of years. He would be thought to cost around 1.5mill, which could rise to 2mill.

He's not a striker, he a left-sided attacking midfielder/ winger.

He spent most of the last two seasons either injured or out of favour but before that he was very highly rated and was being watched by top European sides. If he's cheap and we can get him firing it could be a shrewd acquisition.
