When Fawaz bought Forest four and a half years ago we all had such high hopes and expectations. His failure to take the club forward (and we've probably gone backwards in many ways) illustrates that being mega-rich and a ruthless businessman is not much use if you have no experience of running a big sports club.

To compound matters he has not sought advice from people in the football world and has crashed along from one poor decision to the next. At least the new owners have run a major professional baseball outfit and it sounds like they are bringing in an experienced team. Surely it can only get better?

He did get some advice from someone in football twice, Alex Freguson his racing mate, first he advised him to give his son the Forest job but for once the Forest fans were up in arms, but a few months later he advised him to sack SOD and give the job to his mate the big Eck which proved to be one of Fawaz, s big gaffes! CARLO.
