Being a financial person you take more notice of legal matters. If JJ Moore's loaned Forest money and it doesn't get repaid he not only has a charge over some properties around the City Ground that charge includes the City Ground.

Not certain how he could take possession to sell but he could charge Forest massively increased rents to force a sale. If people think Fawaz is smart then if he borrowed money before the deal was complete then he left himself wide open to having to repay the loan or lose property if it fell through.

Why would fawas have needed to borrow money from JJM. He made 15m at beginning of season from Burke pato and devries.

Checking on Companies House website the charge appears to be on the Academy Training Facilities

Fawaz was extremely niave in these negotiations. The americans offered some money up front to sweeten the deal and Fawaz took it like candy to a baby. I think the key word is negotiation and with the clubs ever dwindling stock, the price was only ever going to come down. There's a lot of figures being banded around but if the offer was 40m, Fawaz will live to regret not taking that money and running because in another seasons time, the club could be worth less than half of that.

The city ground isn't owned by us it's owned by the council so would they still be entitled to it? surely they would only be entitled to assets that the club actually own?
